Aisha was still seated and watching Oge converse with Jeff. She'd been looking at them and even though she had no say, she couldn't help but feel some type of way. She decided to look away completely, Oge wasn't her girlfriend and she had no right to feel entitled. She was deep in her own thoughts when she felt someone sit beside her.
"I'm so sorry, I hope I didn't keep you waiting too long. I didn't know he was coming to Abuja and he explained to me that it was an impromptu job" Oge explained away. Aisha didn't say anything in return as she was so captivated by how Oge's lips moved while she was blabbing away. She'd never seen someone looked so beautiful while they spoke. If they were alone, she would have claimed those lips.
"It's fine" Aisha simply stated. She smiled at Oge and asked her if she was ready for the meeting that was coming up.Two hours later, they were back. The meeting had gone so well and all the deals had been agreed upon. Aisha had as expected, blown everyone away and Oge made some vital contributions also. It would be agreed that she wasn't only attracted to Oge physically, but also intellectually .They hadn't had the time to talk about the sex they had had the night before and no matter what Aisha did, Oge always made sure she avoided the conversation. Now, it was just the two of them, there was nothing distracting them as they had accomplished what they specifically came here for and Aisha saw this as an opportunity to talk to Oge.
"Look at me" Aisha spoke quietly with Oge sitting some feets away. Aisha had a way she spoke with a bit of authority even when she didn't want to and be as it may, it always worked for her. Oge looked up and her eyes landed on Aisha's. She knew what would follow and she knew there was no way she was going to avoid it so she simply kept her innocent gaze fixed on Aisha's.
Aisha stood up from where she was and walked towards Oge, she sat down right beside her and spoke, "I haven't been able to get you out of my head and I know I shouldn't be feeling this way but i just can't help it. I'm not a delusional woman and I clearly knew that you had a boyfriend and you were straight before I took you to my bed, and I wouldn't blame you for reacting the way you do but the thing is Oge, you are everything I think about all day and seeing you with your boyfriend today made me realize the fact that you are not actually mine, and I couldn't help but feel so empty." Aisha said all these and not once did her eyes leave Oge's. She was vulnerable at this moment and she didn't care.Silence was all that followed. Not a single sound coming from the both of them and Oge just sat down on the same spot right beside Aisha. It was as if there was an electromagnetic force keeping them seated. She wanted to talk to Aisha, to respond to all what she had said and as much as she tried to look for the words, she couldn't make any. She knew that deep down, having sex with her was a huge mistake because she liked every single moment of it and that scared her to bits. She wanted Aisha so badly but she couldn't bring herself to tell her and she kept telling herself that she wasn't gay and there was no way on earth she would be able to accept that. She knew the struggle that came with it and she wasn't going to deal with any of that. She finally turned her head to look at Aisha and every detail about the night they had made love kept coming back and not once did it feel wrong.
"I don't think we should continue with this" Oge finally spoke with her voice lacking any form of emotion. When she'd ran into Jeff her boyfriend, she couldn't help but feel bad about what she had done, for God sake, she cheated on this fine man who had done nothing wrong but to love her and she knew he didn't deserve any of it.
Aisha knew from the start that it was all going to end this way and in as much as she was anticipating it, it still hurt her so much to hear those words fall out of Oge's lips, lips that she had tasted and they felt like life itself.
"I am sorry, I shouldn't be cheating on my boyfriend. And please, I don't think I am like you in any way and I don't mean this in a bad way" Oge continued.
Aisha nodded understandably and smiled. She didn't feel betrayed or hurt, she knew it was the price to pay for deciding to fall for a straight woman. She had always told her self that who you love and who you fall for is totally your decision, it is your choice and you have all the control over it. To her at least, love is a choice. It's about choosing to be with a person consciously. She didn't believe that it was something out of her own control, same this with attractions. She simply didn't know what went wrong with Oge.
"We'll leave in the morning, she finally spoke. Get some rest"Note:
