One shot: The girl in the cupboard's birthday

*3rd pov*

Freak was a small girl, too small for her age. Freak's caretakers were Petunia(or auntie 'Tunia) and Vernon (sir) Dursley, two non-magical people who had a son named Dudley. Freak was lonely. She had no friends and she was bullied by Dudley and his gang. Freak did chores for the Dursleys and cooked with Petunia, whom treated her like a daughter. Vernon hated Freak, because she took his lovely wife's attention and was better than Dudley at school. Dudley bullied Freak because he was told to do so by Vernon, but he never touched Freak. Vernon was always ordering his family around, 'Don't help her', 'Make her do the chores', 'Do that' and 'Do this'. Vernon wanted his family to be perfect because he didn't have a functional family in his youth. 

Now, you would think Vernon would love Freak as his own, but Freak's looks reminded Vernon of his father; Archibald Dursley. Archibald was a war hardened man, he was cruel to his family. He punished both Vernon and Marge for being themselves and put their mother through hell. Without realizing it, Vernon had turned out just like his father had been. Vernon who had been so kind and compromising turned out cruel and commanding.

Petunia Dursley hadn't even realized what kind of a man she was marrying as she had been so charmed by Vernon's flirtatious words and ambitious demeanor. And when Petunia got pregnant with Dudley, it was already too late. When Dudley was born, Vernon became commanding and when Freak was brought to their doorstep, he became cruel. He punished Freak for simply excising and for being a 'freak'. He made the girl live in fear as she slept in a cupboard under the stairs.

Freak hadn't always lived like this. Once upon a time Freak had been affectionately called 'Prim' by 'Mama' and 'Prongslette' by 'Dada', 'Womtaw', 'Moowy' and 'Pafoo'. Freak's real name was Primrose Sirius Diana Potter, the daughter of James and Lily Potter, but she didn't know it. The only life Freak knew was of pain and cruelty. As a baby 'Prim' hadn't really liked 'Womtaw', because something felt wrong about the man and the baby had been right, because 'Womtaw' sold Freak's parents out for a bad man.

Petunia shifted in front of Freak's cupboard on the day Freak turned 10, looking around for any sign of Vernon. Satisfied upon realizing that the man was at work, Petunia unlocked Freak's cupboard door. "Time to wake up.." Petunia said and shook the girl gently. "Auntie 'Tunia..?" Freak mumbled upon waking up. "Come on, it's your birthday and I managed to get you something without Vernon knowing." Petunia whispered.  "Okay.." Freak mumbled as she climbed out of the cupboard. 

The two went into the kitchen and Petunia presented Freak with a small cake that was about the size of a piece of cake. "Eat it and then you can open your presents." Petunia said as she showed Freak two gifts.

After Freak had eaten she opened the two green present boxes. Inside the first one had a silver jewelry box inside of it, which was filled with necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets. "Those were your mother's and now they're yours." Petunia said. Freak also noticed a few letters on the side of the jewelry box. The second present box had clothes inside of it, most of which were green, black and silver. Freak looked at the first letter which had 'Prim' written on it in neat cursive. 

'Hello, little Prim. I'm Lily Potter, your mama. I know that by now you're either living with your godfather Sirius- or your aunt Petunia if Dumbledore ignored our wills. I know if you're with 'Tunia, she'd have loved you, but her husband... I don't trust him. There's just something off about Vernon, that's why I never approved of their marriage, but I set my distaste behind and still acted as 'Tunia's maid of honor. If you are living with Vernon and Petunia, just know that you are Primrose Sirius Diana Potter. You are no freak, you're a beautiful witch girl. Please don't forget who you are. Love, Mama.'

She then looked at the one that said 'Prongslette' on bold loopy letters.

'Hello Prongslette. I'm James Potter, your Dada. I hope that you're doing many pranks where ever you live (I hope Sirius/Padfoot). Remus/Moony will have taught you all kinds of things and Padfoot will have blood adopted you by now. Don't accuse Padfoot of selling us out, it was Peter/Wormtail who did that as he was our secret keeper. I trust you know all about magic now and I suppose you're going to Hogwarts soon... I'm sorry I didn't see you grow, Prongslette. Love, Dada.'

"Mama... Dada.. Moowy.. Pafoo...." Primrose whispered as she distantly remembered her parents and the two other men. "Why Womtaw?." She whispered sadly. "Go to your cupboard quickly before Vernon comes back." Petunia said gently. Primrose nodded, took her gifts and hurried inside the cupboard, hiding the presents from other people.
