THE NINE TEENAGERS HAD NOTHING BUT EACH OTHER. They lived on an island where you don't age, you stay young forever. NEVERLAND, was a place where kids who felt unloved or unwanted, were taken. A shadow figure coming to thier window at night, and leading them to the island.

An island where there was no adults. Only children, and teenagers. An island where they never aged, and stay the age they came to the island. The nine teens were always torn if it was a good or bad thing.

As, here, on the island they would never get to see this they cared about. (Although, Pan lived to point out, how, even if the teens loved their families, their families didn't return that love.

He said they're past family and friends didn't deserve there love and loyalty. Because they didn't return it.

It fueled their rage. And, they're hatred for their parents.

And then the come to Neverland.
To rescue the truest believer.
