This time, I was in a cabin at a campground I was staying at. But I wasn't there long. Almost as soon as I was in the cabin I was somewhere else. It looked like I was in an apocalypse. Buildings where on the ground. Some on fire. My mom and I were running to take shelter from the burning hot sun. But when I looked up at it. That for sure wasn't the sun. That was earth. Like a huge mirror reflecting our planet. I was standing there. Terrified of what was to come. It erupted into little pieces. I felt the earth shake. My mom grabbed my hand and pulled me into a sturdy building along with other kids and adults. My mom was holding me and I was crying in her chest as I felt the earth break apart outside the building. Then. Time skipped to a month later about. My mom and I shared a room in that building. Other parents and kids did too. The building was about as big as one you'd see in New York. It was huge, so it fit a lot of people. It even had a school attached to it still. My mom and I were just laying in our shared bed — there were limited resources — watching a movie. Donnie Darko to be exact. Then this girl walked in. She never gave a name. Just said that we need to split up. My mom and I. I was terrified. What if I was never gonna see her again? My mom hesitantly agreed to have me sent to the place all the kids were. The basement. I didn't wanna go but I did. I seen some of my friends there. Along with some people I hate. Then they locked us in. Like a cage. We had enough beds and entertainment but for a fifteen year old I was quite bored. Yes the wifi and internet worked but whats fun in it if you can't talk to your internet friends? I went to bed and when I woke up I was told by that lady that I needed to go to school with the other kids. I didn't want to but I did. I got dressed in some shorts and my flannel. I didn't button my shorts though, it made me uncomfortable. I was trying to find my class and I was asking around when I seen this group of kids ranging from maybe fifteen to seventeen. I went up to them and asked "do you know where this room is?" I pointed to my sheet of paper and this guy with messy brown hair pointed to a room close to them. I thanked him and walked to the room. But I didn't make it too far. He grabbed onto my shorts. Not in a rude way. A way that showed he didn't want me to leave. He wanted me to ditch my class. "I really need to get to class." I tried my best not to be mean. He just said "nope you're not leaving you're gonna stay with us." When he let go I tried again to leave but he grabbed me again. I buttoned my shorts thinking that it'll be harder for him to grab me next time. But when I once again tried to escape he still got hold of me. "Umm I need to use the restroom.." he walked me to the girls room and when I went in a stall I threw up everywhere. I felt really embarrassed. A janitor came in and cleaned it up. I walked out after cleaning myself as much as I could and the boy asked if I was okay. I nodded and we walked outside. I started to like this guy, he seemed funny and somewhat kind. We went to the basement place and just talked for a while. That's when I looked outside the small window. The "sun" was on fire. Earth was back into a sphere just burning hot. I stood up and went to go to the door of the basement. That girl stopped me. "You can't leave" she was so rude when she said this. "I need to see my mom" I was about to start bawling my eyes out. "I'll have her down here in a second." I nodded and went back to the boy. He looked worried too. When we were talking he told me how his parents weren't here. They were somewhere else. My mom walked in and we immediately teleported to the cabin. Just on the beach nearby. We started talking but it was so hot out— the Earth is on fire after all— we had to go in the water. Then we teleported back to the building. But I was alone. There was only kids now. All the adults passed away. Even the girl and my mom. Now it was just the boy and I along with his friends. Thats when I woke up.
