All I wanted to do was fall into oblivion and let the darkness consume me. I didn't want to feel the pain, the thorns from the rose bush, or the bullet in my thigh. My vision hazy from shock and fear, it was hard to focus on anything and it was as if time slowed down. I reached my hand out to Beck, but she wasn't there anymore I could hear her gun going off above me but I felt so far away. It happened so fast, the last thing I remember is being in our car driving home.....
