Coming back

This was a long plane ride for Emily so she had a lot of time to think

Emily's POV
Why am I doing this, I wanna go back, I could just talk to Lindsey and figure this all out, this is not where I wanna be.

Landed in Sidney

I'm gonna talk to the coach and get out of this I don't wanna be here I wanna be at home with my team

I talked to the coach and he said I was good to go home he would rather have someone that wants to be here than not so I have to catch the next flight

Oh shit the letter, I forgot. Lindsey doesn't need to see it I'll text moe and tell her never mind

Son: hey moe no need to drop the letter off at Lindsey's I'm coming back I didn't wanna be here
Moe: umm I kinda already dropped it off
Son: great now she's gonna hate me
Moe: sorry
Son: it's not your fault I should have never taken this offer
Moe: okay
Son: can you pick me up tomorrow
Moe: yes I can
Son: ok see you tomorrow
Moe: tomorrow

Tomorrow

Me and moe are in the car driving back to the apartments and this is the moment where I realized I need to talk to Lindsey and I need to talk to her now.

So I walked up to her apartment and nocked on the door and an unfamiliar girl walked up to the door

"I'm hi can I help you"

"I'm here to talk to Lindsey"

"Okay I'll get her, LINDSEY, BABE SOMEONE IS HERE TO SEE YOU" she yelled

Did she just say babe I thought to my self, I thought she didn't like girls

Lindsey walked down stairs

Lindsey POV

I saw sonnett sitting on my couch what is she doing here
" what are you doing here"

"So that's how I get welcomed back"

"Back?"

"Yeah I'm here to stay, I realized running away wasn't gonna fix anything it was just gonna make it worse"

"Oh, so your not going to Sidney"

"I already did and the coach said if I was gonna act like I didn't want to be there he didn't want me so I came back, I tried to get to you before you read my letter, did you read it?"

"I did read it son and it broke my heart it broke me"

"I'm so sorry I didn't think I was gonna come back for a while but I though moe wouldn't have given you the note yet so I came back think there was hope, clearly there isn't saying you must have a girlfriend, so I'll just be in my way out"

Son stormed out of the house and I just cried I didn't know what to do I love her and she loves me
