Emily's POV

Today's the first game I'm kinda excited it's my senior year and I'm really exited to play with Lindsey for the first time she's been really good at all of our practices and I think coach is gonna let her start

In the locker room

Lindsey's POV

First game and I'm starting I never envisioned I would be here especially since I dropped out of college 2 years ago, I'd never believe I am in college again.

We're walking out of the locker room and I look a head of me and I see Emily looking right at me and smiling so I smiled back and wished each other good luck but the luck wasn't needed we were smooth sailing all the way though the game we ended up beating UT 3-0
Which was pretty good since it was my first game I didn't score but Emily did which she was bragging about all night we were at Emily dorm with moe and all of a sudden I got a text from someone I thought I'd never get a text from again

It was Owen my old boyfriend from Colorado

Owen❤️: hey you played a great game tonight miss you❤️

I didn't want to respond we never officially broke up we were fighting cause I never told him I was leaving to come here, I still love him but I don't know if I can

I walked out side and asked sonnett to throw me my phone

Emily's POV

"Hey sonny can you throw me my phone it's on the couch" Lindsey asked

Yeah.... I picked up her phone and I saw a message from some one named Owen and it had a heart next to it and I don't remember her saying she had a sibling named Owen so it must be a boyfriend I thought to myself
I tossed Lindsey her phone and I was thinking about how I can't ruin Lindsey's relationship so I just decided to stay quiet and text moe

On text
Son: Lindsey has a boyfriend
Moe: wait for real
Son: yes when I went to hand her her phone there was a text from someone named Owen and it had a heart next to it and I don't remember her ever saying there was an Owen in her family
Moe: me either
Son: so it must be here boyfriend
Moe: I'm sorry Emily I know you like her but maybe one day she'll realize you're the one
Son: thanks moe I know I can always count on you love you
Moe: love you too
