Liam's POV
'How long has he been in there?' I questioned. "You pace when you're nervous, you know that right?" Peter mused, making me stop my pacing back and forth my office. I glared at him. "What? I'm just saying" he let out a breathless chuckle."And what if it was Ari?" "That's different" "How?" "I've known her for ages" he smirked at me. I growled at him. "I won" he announced triumphantly causing me to roll my eyes. Suddenly we heard a crashing sound from up stairs. A couple of seconds later Ari rushed in, "Your mate's awake" she smiled out of breath.
Ella's pov
Ouch my head hurts, wait my whole body hurts. What happened? I slowly let my eyes open to a bright light, it causes my to squint slightly. I try to sit up but then i feel a searing pain in my side, then it all comes back to me. Uh oh. I look down at my body to see if there's much damage, tubes stick out of my arms, there's a blanket over my body and I'm dressed in what feels like shorts and a t-shirt. What I'm dressed? Who dressed me? I ripped the tubes out of my arms, causing multiple machines beside me to beep. Okay, where's the exit. I surveyed the room, it seemed pretty plain with cream walls, light brown wooden floors, the queen sized bed I'm lying on, the machines that are still beeping and a small cream coloured chair in the corner.
There was only one door facing opposite the bed I was on. I could hear a key get turned in the lock. Immediately I lie back down in my bed and pretend that I was never awake. I could hear two voices one was masculine and the other feminine. "What am I gonna tell Liam?" the feminine voice complained. "Just say that she's definitely going to live but it might take a little longer than we thought for her to wake up" the second voice responded sympathetically. The woman sighed, I could her one of them move towards me. "Don't move, don't move" I chanted to myself. "Your breathing is faster" my wolf butted in. "That's weird" the man mused. "What?" the girl asked. "Ari come here and see this, she ripped out the tubes" the man said, I could feel him touch my arm to put the tubes back in but before he could do that I had grabbed him and threw him against the far wall, making a distinct crashing noise. I turned towards the woman, Ari was it? but she was already gone. "Time to go" I said to no one in particular. I headed to a window by the chair, opened it and jumped out. Thank goddess that I was on the second floor, I mean I've jumped out from the third or fourth story but to be honest I don't think I would have been able to do that with my side.
I began running, I didn't care which way as long as I was heading away from the pack house. "Shift, shift, shift" my wolf was chanting in my head. "No, no shifting, the last time I let myself to be that stupid and shift I ended up getting hurt and getting captured" I responded to her. She whined slightly at what I said. I ignored her and continued running. Then a question drifted into my mind 'Where's my bike?' Shit, I am so screwed. I slowed slightly, deep in thought. I hadn't been looking where I put my feet, I hadn't noticed the sliver nuse on the ground waiting for someone to step into. Before I could realize what was happening, I was hanging upside-down. I growled out in frustration. I hadn't set out anything so that meant that it belonged to another hunter, another pack or this pack.
Great I'm about to either be killed or tortured, (note the sarcasm). Suddenly the bushes to my left start to rustle along with the near side of the oak trees to my right.
Looks like my captures were waiting for me. A young boy around the age of nine emerges from the bushes. he moves his scruffy blonde hair out from in front of his forrest green eyes. He gapes slightly at me, making me feel slightly exposed. His freckled cheeks have paled quite a bit, making him look as if he's gonna faint. "Who are you?" he questions me after about a minute of silence. "Who are you?" I ask trying to avoid his question. "Joshua, now it's your turn to answer my question" he shot back, authority lacing his words. "A rogue" I reply vaguely "Now let me go" I hiss at him, he shied away for a second before regaining his composure. "What is your name, rogue", he has to have alpha blood in him somewhere with the way he stands up to me. "None of your concern" I smirk at him. "Fine do you have permission to be on Solar lupus pack territory?" he asked curtly. 'Definitely alpha blood' my wolf butted in before cutting the link. I've only really known her far about twenty minutes, maybe slightly more and she seems to be a right bitch. "Nope" I grinned at him, popping the p. "You're gonna need to see the alpha" Joshua announced. "I already have". "Then how are you still alive?" he said wide-eyed. "You tell me" I smirked at him, I could see he was getting annoyed at me.
