Friends Like Us (REVAMPED)

Lucy sat in her seat, calmly tapping her nails against the desk, looking at the door wondering when her best friend would show up. She saw her before class, but didn't show up when they had a race to class. Maybe she had to go to the bathroom? Lucy sighed, she gave up on waiting for her best friend.

She remembered how her best friend would always talk about the new kid, although she new nothing about him, she would always talk about how cute he was. Lucy always shrugged it off, deciding it would be best to let her best friend fangirl over him, Lucy figured her best friend would get over it eventually. However, her obsession didn't stop, which lead to Lucy hating this quote unquote "new kid".

Lisanna frantically ran into the classroom, she was panting and her notes were everywhere. Lucy stared at her, wondering where she was before.

"Miss Strauss you're late, again!" the teacher scolded Lisanna as she tried getting her notes together.

"I know I'm sorry! I got a really important call from my sister and something happened to my aunt!" Lisanna said frantically. Lies. Lucy knew all of Lisanna's excuses, Lisanna told her them.

The teacher sighed. "Very well then, but next time tell Miss. Mirajane that she needs to call the office, and not you. Understood?" Lisanna nodded and took her seat next to Lucy.

"Can't believe I got out of that one!" Lisanna whispered to Lucy. Lucy nodded without taking a glance at Lisanna and doodled on some scrap paper instead.

"I'm so happy!" Lisanna continued whispering. "I was able to talk to the new kid! His name is Natsu Dragneel apparently!"

Natsu Dragneel, huh?

The man who i have an undying hate for.

Lucy brushed away her thoughts, she didn't know how this "Natsu" kid acted, so she couldn't hate him immediately. But then again, he took her best friend away from her.

The bell rang, class was dismissed. Lucy got up from her seat and started walking down the hallways, to her locker she went.

She remembered when her and Lisanna first became friends, back in first grade when she scratched her knee really badly on the playground. Back when Lisanna helped her up and took her to the nurse. Back when their friendship first began. Good times, Lucy wished she could go back.

Suddenly, she felt someone's presence behind her. Lisanna, with some kid with pink hair that Lucy could only presume to be Natsu. She watched as Lisanna clanged tightly onto Natsu's left arm, his face was completely emotionless. Lisanna went on and on about things, but then Lucy heard her own name in their discussion.

Lucy sighed and grabbed her stuff quickly, walking to her next class. So many flashbacks of her and Lisanna were rushing back to Lucy at 100 miles an hour, Lucy was almost unable to keep up. Then, something came to her head, something that she didn't like the sound of...

I need to get Natsu Dragneel out of the picture.
