Friends Like Us (REVAMPED)

Lucy rested her head down on her desk. It was her last hour now, all she had to do was get through this class and she could be on her way home.

She listened to the teachers lecture, already counting the seconds left of the school day. Well, her counting was a bit off. The school bell rang a little bit earlier today, and Lucy was already up and out of that classroom.

She darted to her locker, punching in the combination and grabbing her stuff out.

Gray tapped Lucy's shoulder. "Hey Lucy! Didn't see you at lunch today, where were you?"

Lucy turned around to face Gray. "Oh well, I was a little late to Ms. Aquarius' class and you know how she hates me. So I got a lunch detention."

"Oh, right. She really does hate you doesn't she?" Gray chuckled. "Sit by me on Monday?" Lucy nodded. Gray started to walk towards the school's entrance. "Alright, don't be late to Ms. Aquarius' class though!"

Lucy turned back to her locker, grabbing one of her textbooks. Then another person tapped her shoulder.

"Lucy!" The person smiled. Without a doubt in Lucy's mind, she knew the person was Natsu. "Wanna walk home together?"

Lucy shut her locker and turned back to Natsu. "Sure!"

Natsu started walking towards the entrance, with Lucy following behind him. "Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you that Lisanna got sent home early today. In sixth hour I believe."

The two started walking on the sidewalk. "Oh, okay. I didn't really need to know but thanks I guess."

"Anyways, moving on! Do you have any pets?" Natsu quickly changed the topic.

"I actually do, I have a dog named Plue!" Lucy smiled. She loved her dog, and at the moment she loved her dog more than anything.

"Me too! Well, I don't have a dog named Plue. I have a cat named Happy! He's a weird cat once you first see him. For some reason when my sister and I were younger, we decided to dye his fur blue. I guess it just kind of stuck with him because after all these years he's still blue." Natsu chuckled at his own response.

"You have a sister?" Lucy asked.

"Sure do, she attends the middle school. Her name is Wendy!" Natsu answered. "You got any siblings?"

Lucy sighed. "Unfortunately I don't, though when I was younger I always pretended one of my dolls was my younger sister. Her name was Michelle I think. Actually speaking of that doll, I don't know where she is."

"Ooh! Cool! Well, I have to take a different direction now. I'll see you Monday!" Natsu smiled and waved at Lucy, turning right into a neighborhood.

"Yeah, see you!" Lucy smiled and waved back, continuing to walk forward to her apartment.
