Friends Like Us (REVAMPED)

The rest of the week was filled with Lucy's growls as she watched Lisanna cling onto Natsu's right arm and walked down the halls with him. Lucy missed walking to class with Lisanna, Lucy missed sitting at lunch with Lisanna, Lucy missed goofing off in class with Lisanna. Lisanna was her closest friend, so why was Lisanna ditching her? Oh, right. Lucy constantly had to remind herself that it was Natsu, it was all Natsu's fault. She sighed as she pulled out her notebook and calculator from her bag.

Lucy wasn't paying much attention to anything, until someone threw their bag on the desk next to Lucy's. Lucy looked up and saw Natsu take a seat next to her. Great, just great Lucy huffed. She turned to finishing her homework, which she didn't have time to finish last night. Things were pretty quiet until Natsu spoke up.

"Hey, you didn't finish the homework?" Natsu asked, pointing at Lucy's paper.

"No, I actually didn't." Lucy said with a little bit of a pissed off tone.

"No need to give an attitude," Natsu laughed, waving his hands back in forth as to say that he was innocent. Lucy looked up from her unfinished homework and turned to Natsu.

"How can I not be pissed off at someone who's taking my closest friend away from me? I miss hanging with Lisanna, but then you came into the picture!" Lucy snapped at Natsu.

Natsu opened his mouth and said "Oooh, well let me tell you this. It'll be worth your time and prove that I'm innocent, so please don't kill me!"

Lucy sighed, looking back down at her homework, not wanting to pay much attention to the guy beside her. "What is it?"

"You see, I don't really understand Lisanna. I'm a bit confused by her actions, actually. It's only my first 2 or 3 weeks here and I'm already getting my arm hugged everyday, I'm just confused by the girls' actions."

"Really? You're confused? God, you're so god damn oblivious, aren't you?" Lucy huffed once again. Natsu flinched at her response.

"L-listen I don't consider Lisanna one of my friends so I'm sorry if you think that I'm taking her away from you!" Natsu stuttered, afraid that the lady beside him was gonna rip his guts out.

Lucy didn't give a response for a solid 2 minutes, they just sat there in silence. She didn't wanna give a response either, but she eventually spoke up.

"Meet me in the library after this class is over, got it?" Lucy clicked her mechanical pencil and Natsu nodded, while also cracking a smile.

"Perfect, w-wait are you gonna kill me in the library?!" Natsu was still afraid of Lucy's attitude.

Lucy couldn't help but giggle at his response. "No, I just wanna know a few things."

The bell rang and the teacher walked back into the room, starting the lesson.

Maybe this guy isn't as bad as I thought he was, he just seems pretty normal and chill. I don't know why I was so harsh to him... Lucy tapped her pencil on the tip of her desk. Now, how to calculate this formula...
