" Loser, Loser, double loser, as if, whatever, get the picture, DUH! " I chanted smiling ear to ear with my food in hand. Axel lost our little match and he had to own up and get me food.

" Stop quoting Lizzie McGuire " he said with a tone of annoyance as he drove us back to my house in his 2019 Chevrolet Traverse but I could care less as I dipped my fries in my milkshake humming a song. Food literally always put me in the best mood. As long as I had food nothing could bother my ass.

" Want my nuggets Axel? "

" Wow! Are you offering me food? " I looked at him and scoffed " Either you take the nuggets or shut up idiot ".

He reached for a nugget and I pulled away laughing like Ursula from my little mermaid. " Did you really think I'd share food? Especially with you? You have got to be kidding me " I bursted out in laughter and he swerved the car and braked really hard so my milkshake would spill all over me.

" WHAT THE FUCK, DUDE?! "

I already saw a smirk on his face before he opened his mouth " Oh, my bad. Did you really not see the deer my precious? "

I glared at him and stayed silent for the whole ride after nibbling on my nuggets in anger thinking of ways to get my revenge.

" We're here. You can stop being angry at me now "

I unbuckled my seat beat and lunged at him aiming to fart on him but he opened the car door and ran out " I WILL GET MY REVENGE " I yelled. While I was just sitting in the car gathering my belongings I placed near my feet I started to feel nauseous. Maybe it was the fries and shake? I opened the car door and puked my guts out. I could see bits of fries and nuggets. I pouted and left all my items in the car. I figured I'd carry them in later I just really wanted to take a nap. Ever since my accident I've been having terrible headaches. I got up out of the car but fell. I felt weak and lifeless...I closed my eyes slipping into a coma.

" Run! Run faster " I kept repeating this to myself I was determined to get out of the mysterious man behind me. But I was caught. I was trapped. That man was Axel. I could see his face as he choked me the moon was shining down giving me a clear view of his face. My hands shone a beautiful light, blue kind of like ice before everything turned dark.

" Hey big head, you feeling better? " A pretty girl asked. She had blue eyes and short platinumish blonde hair. I blinked twice and cursed at myself before making a " Duh " face to myself. " Maxine, how are you? How's summer? " I asked as I sat up to give her the biggest hug ever! She was my best friend since high school started. She was popular because she was always friendly. All the guys liked her, including Axel. I'd catch him flirting with her all the time but when I told him I found them cute he'd always mumble something along the lines of " She's not my type she has a face the size of the train from that cartoon show Thomas and Friends ". Guys and there denial..

I dragged her onto my bed and made that TELL ME WHAT IS UP IN THE HOUSEEEEEE face. " Tell me everything " I said in my rapist voice.

She made an evil grin " Where should I even start? "

" How about you tell me everything " I said internally to myself as I prepare myself for the excitement. She caught me up on literally everything even the fact that her and the guy I've literally had a crush on since middle school are now dating.

" he's like the sweetest guy ever. She said you guys went to school together, too. We went to the movies and he held me until the movie was officially done after that we went to get pancakes at the local diner. I couldn't have asked for a better date " she babbled on and on as I rolled my eyes. Maybe I should've told her that I had a huge crush on him but I wasn't that kind of girl who was boy crazy or only talked about the guys she had crushes on. I liked to talk about or educate myself on the world we lived in. The what ifs of the future. Sometimes I liked to pretend I'm meeting aliens in Area 51. I mean hey other planets exist for a reason. We live on planet earth so 🤔 someone must be living on Mars.

" Earth to healing? HELLLO! " I blinked bringing myself out of my thoughts to see Maxine waving her hands in my face. " Happy school is starting soon? I'm so anxious I heard there's a new economics teacher and he's super duper cute ".

" Eh, I just really missed you no one else is super duper cute besides us " I say pinching her cheeks on purpose ( Maxine hates when her cheeks are being pinched, not just because it leaves her cheeks red but messes up her makeup hahaha ).

" Stop it " she exclaims making me laugh " To think I was gonna sleep over I even brought your favorite bbq wings with blue cheese and cheese sticks! Guess I'll just take them with me " she gets up and grabs the boxes with " Papa johns " written in the front with the dudes smiling face on the box and starts walking to my bedroom door "

" NOOOOO COME BACK HERE WOMAN " I get up and hug her leg like a little kid.

" Promise not to pinch my cheeks again? "

I nod like a crackhead.

" Say it ".

" I promise " but little did she know I had my hands crossed behind my back.
