Gonna get better

It had been a few days and Camila had spent her time at home her mommy staying with her the whole time. The woman wasn't concerned about not being at work; her daughters always came first. Camila was mainly resting and waiting for a call from her doctor. But today she was feeling strong enough to go to school.

"Now I want you to call me if you start to feel sick or if you get tired I'll come as fast as I can" Normani insisted 

"I'll be fine mom, really I feel better" Camila spoke munching on her breakfast

"Relax, we'll check up on her all day" Lauren reassured her mom giving a loving smile to her mom 

"Speaking of which we should head to school, mama?" Ally nudged her mama

"Mhm?" the poly looked up from her mug of coffee 

The eldest gave her best puppy dog eyes "May I drive your car to school today?"

Dinah reluctantly handed over her keys to her oldest "Just be careful with it!"

"Promise! Come on guys" Ally motioned for her sisters to follow her

"Bye mama, bye mommy" Camila gave each of her mothers a kiss on the cheek before following her sisters out of the house.

Camila was at her locker looking around seeing if Shawn was close by she missed her best friend. But the bell rang and Camila figured she'd see Shawn in class. Before she took her seat in her math class, her teacher who was low key the meanest in the school gave her all the material she needed to get done before the next class.

"Since you've been gone, we have gone over a lot of topics and we have a test tomorrow so. Get all these assignments on my desk tomorrow before class" Mr. Rogers crossed his arms waving her off to go take her seat

She saw the stack and was very concerned "It's just kinda a lot to do sir is it okay if I take an extra day?"

"I'm afraid not you are already behind in terms of schoolwork so I'd get it done so you don't get left behind"

Camila sighed then headed to her seat with her pile of papers. Shawn came in just in the nick of time.

"Ah Mr. Mendes, nice of you to join us" Mr. Rogers sassed "Take your seat. Class open your books to page 54 and start doing problems 1 to 3" he then turned to the board writing the assignments

Shawn smiled when he saw his best friend sitting at their table "You're back! How are ya feeling?"

"I'm alright, didn't realize I missed so much" she started flipping through some of the course work in front of her

"Yeah he just flies by with lessons that none of us understand, I barely know what's on the test tomorrow" he shrugged

"Were you bored while I was gone?"

"Well yes and no, I've been hanging out with the Taylors and their friends, and they're actually pretty cool, after hanging out with Taylor at your place we bonded. We can sit with them at lunch later"

Camila was not on board with hanging out with her bullies "yeah, uh sure"

The whole day Ally was avoiding Troy like the plague. The boy has been texting her non-stop, leading her to block Troy's number. But that didn't stop Troy from trying to talk to her. He waited for her outside most of her classes, but Ally caught on to his game and snuck around to the best of her abilities, her friends and had her back helping her keep away from Troy as well.

Lauren caught up with her during her free period, she wanted to check on her sister on how she was doing.

They both met at Ally's locker, Lauren leaned against the lockers while talking to her older sister "You should talk to Troy"
