Jisoo POV

It was still painful to move but I just couldn't stand lying there in bed anymore. I just had to get somewhere that didn't remind me of last night.

Even just seeing him near me was making my heart ache. It also confused me so much how I didn't seem to remember those last few moments, I already knew Jeonghan had the power to heal but I don't know whether he removed my memories or if I'd simply blacked out.

I turn my head to the side and gasp loudly in complete shock. Jeonghan was just laying next to me, on his side, staring at me with a blank expression on his face.

When did he come back?

I didn't even hear him come in, the door stayed closed and I couldn't feel the wind of the window opening. That's just terrifying.

Wait, something's wrong. He smells like ashes and fire, what happened?!

"Hello, Jisoo." His voice is completely monotone and it's absolutely unsettling. How long has he been here for?

"You still haven't eaten, do you want me to feed you?" I shake my head and try to sit up. "Ah!" I yelp, and he sighs, getting out of bed. "It seems that I'll have to do everything myself." Jeonghan propped another pillow under my head to help me sit up. He put a sweater on me  and was careful and gentle, which I liked.

Ugh, my lower back hurts so much but I have to sit. He places his hand underneath the plate and I can feel the warmth start to emanate as he heats up the food. I also notice a few black smudges around his hands, wrists, and arms.

What did he burn?

I open my mouth and let him feed me, even though I was only able to finish half of my food. Mostly because I just didn't have an appetite and also because I was a slow eater. The curtains were drawn but I could see a shadow moving outside, and then, a tap.

We both froze, he looked over and it was clear, there was a person's silhouette right outside the window. We knew who it was and pure rage filled his face. "He can't get you, just ignore him."

Another tap.

I slap a hand over my mouth to muffle my sobbing. "Please, no, don't, just leave me alone...." I whimper, sounding absolutely pathetic. Jeonghan can sense my distress and there was even something about him that seemed different from his usual, calm, self. He appeared to be deeply stressed about something else other than the fact Seokmin was tapping away at the window.

Without even thinking at all, I rush out of bed, ignoring the pain as Jeonghan didn't catch up to me right away, probably shocked by the situation.

For now, I just need to go somewhere without any demons.

The only place was the prayer room, which was close enough to the bedroom that I just slammed the door shut, locked it, and made my way to the corner of the room.

I could hear Jeonghan slowly walking to the door, and even from that distance, I could even feel his rage but at least he couldn't get in. "Jisoo, come out, now." He said, his voice calm but demanding.

I refused to listen and covered my ears, if he wants me that badly, he's gonna have to grow the balls to come get me himself.

The doorknob jiggled violently as the previous calmness and bright energy in the room was starting to be overtaken by a dark, evil energy that came in the form of tentacle-like shadows creeping along the walls from the edges of the door.

It was a truly horrifying sight and I could only watch in shock as the crosses in the room slowly turned upside-down, one after another, eventually making their way towards my trembling body. When the entire room was taken over by his darkness, the jiggling suddenly stopped, there was silence for a while before the door slowly creaked open, revealing a horrifying sight.

As far as I could see, the entire apartment was filled by the black energy and in the centre of the doorway stood Jeonghan, his eyes blood red and even the whites were black, his skin looked deathly pale except for the edges of his fingertips, the nails now long and sharp, which were now black, even his lips were a deep, deathly shade and the entire sight was too overwhelming to comprehend what was going on in front of me. Jeonghan was kneeling in front of me in the instant I blinked and I couldn't even scream because of how scared I was.

He tilted his head in a way that looked so animated he didn't even look real. "I thought I told you not to leave me." He violently grabbed my neck and pushed me down to the floor, I choked but he obviously wouldn't stop this time. "Why can't you understand I'm just trying to keep you safe? I even went to get Coco back for you! I knew you humans were all weak and selfish! Why did I even let you live?" I was starting to cry but he ignored me, "Betrayal!" he hissed, slamming my head against the hard floor again, "You promised me!' Jeonghan wailed.

"I'm...s-sorry..." I manage to choke out but he just gets angrier, "Yeah, and how many more times am I going to hear that again, huh? I gave you a chance, you never learned and look at you now, I could kill you in less than a second if I wanted."

"Then do it." I weakly mustered, and he stared at me for a while, a slow realisation starting to cross his face.

And then he was suddenly pulled back and I saw Seokmin there, in the room, there was no way I was imagining it.

"Hyung."

My friend definitely looked like he'd aged since the last time I'd seen him but as a demon he could easily change his appearance.

Wordlessly, I could only stare, Jeonghan attacked him, ripping a deep chunk from Seokmin's shoulder. "Jisoo!! Run now! He's going to hurt you! Go somewhere safe! Just get away from here!" Jeonghan screamed as Seokmin swiftly fought back, "That's my friend, you ancient piece of shit!" I shuffle away from them as they fought, Seokmin's powerful and muscular body quickly overpowered Jeonghan, tearing bloody chunks from his abdomen, the blood getting all over me, staining the previously baby blue sweater a deep dark red.

"What about yo-"

"DON'T FUCKING THINK ABOUT ME JUST LEAVE!!" Jeonghan screamed, blood from his mouth now flying everywhere. I need to do something.

"Seokmin!! Stop!! Stop hurting him!" I pleaded, pulling his arm, the second I touched him, he stopped, and turned to me, shocked. "Didn't he hurt you? Don't you want him to suffer?" I shake my head, "No, I never wanted any of this to happen, it's all my fault this happened, just please, leave Jeonghan-hyung alone." Begrudgingly, he complied, pulling his hand out of Jeonghan's bloody, mangled torso. He let out a low, spluttering sigh, his eyes looking like they're starting to lose focus.

"Then come with me." Seokmin deadpanned, "Come and I won't kill him." Anything to keep Jeonghan safe.

Seokmin grabbed me, lifted me off the floor and I watched as a black void opened in the floor.

I look at Jeonghan, his eyes staring almost lifelessly at me, tears falling down his beautiful face.

Seokmin walked closer to the void and jumped.

How's the chapter lol I know it took ages but I'm gonna try to build on this as much as I can, I hope it's at least kind of interesting?

Some feedback would be helpful since I really want to know what you think of my idea.

Have a good day and stay safe :)
