• This is HISTORICAL FICTION and is therefore designed to be inaccurate, please do not bash me every time you realize something in plot does not fit with history
• Characters other than Afsana, Lubna, Zia, Nadim and Ambassador Morris are real, so yes I'm still following reality in some ways
• Louis is originally Antoine's brother and his title was the Prince of Conde, due to not wanting to overcomplicate plot I changed that
• Emperor Humayun had more than three wives but since they bring nothing to the plot I didn't bother with them. His son Akbar was his heir, many will know him if you've seen Jodha Akbar
• You may feel this story is rushed, but that's because marriage in those days was a quick affair and there are a lot of time skips. Also, compared to Romeo and Juliet, these lot took their time ;)
• Pondicherry was French settlement but wasn't established until 1674, which is 124 years after this story
• If you're bothered by the age gap, I understand but you have to know that in those times the gap could be much bigger.
