Oh hey there. Sup losers, my name's Y/N, daughter of Hades and Persephone. Yep you heard me right, Hades God of the Underworld. I'm quite proud to be his daughter, and you know being next in line for the Queen of the Underworld and a goddess are quite good perks. He and Mom are awesome. Neither of them are necessarily the most qualified to be parents but nonetheless they manage.

Life hasn't always been easy though. Life used to be perfect, Dad and Mom ruled the Underworld together and 'life was prosperous' as they say although there's not much life in the Underworld. That was until King Adam of Auradon decided that all the Villains needed to be locked up. I don't understand how that includes Dad, he's a God, not a villain. Sure he may have tried to ruin Hercules' life and have played his fair share of tricks on unsuspecting people but who hasn't really? But regardless of my opinion, we were banished to the Isle to be locked up for eternity.

So that's where we live now. The Isle of the Lost. More like the 'Isle of People Who Lost Their Minds'. I don't really have many friends, but that's fine by me. I'm friends with the four VK's who got dragged off to Auradon but when they said they wanted the children of the most feared villains, I was deemed 'too dangerous'. So I'm still stuck on the Isle.

It isn't all bad though, I have Uma and her pirate crew. I love them all to pieces and think of them as well when I think about my family.

There's Uma of course, my best friend and my ride or die. She was the first person I befriended when I was little and she's been there for me ever since. She and I both work at Ursula's Fish and Chips, her mother's restaurant- that is if you can call that garbage pit a restaurant. Some days I'll spend weeks at a time with Uma on the pirate ship before going back to my house. She really is my best friend and partner in crime.

Then there's Gil, sweet lovable Gil. Gil is another one of my best friends, and he's always ready with a hug or a laugh to make you smile. Sure, he's impossibly dim witted and slow, but he means well. I can always go to him if I need a person to just vent to if Uma's busy or uninterested. He was the one I first told about my decision to swear off love.

About that, I decided a long long time ago that I would never fall in love. No, nobody hurt me and broke my heart but living in the Underworld for so long, I saw more than my fair share of souls of people whose lives were destroyed because of love in one way or another. I mean my parents are so in love that it's sickening, but I don't want to get hurt like the thousands of souls I saw in my childhood.

But that was a long time ago, I'm 18 now and too stubborn to change my mind. So I love my life without getting too attached, I'm even worried about getting too attached to my friends, but they've all helped me learn that I can trust them. There's one member of the crew that I refuse to trust though.

Harry Hook. Gods, even thinking his name makes my skin crawl. The son of the infamous Captain James Hook. He with his pompous and cocky attitude and his desire to flirt with every female being with a pulse. But... nevertheless he is the same young man whose eyes remind me of sea foam crashing against the sides of the ships in the docks. He's the same guy who always seems to be right there with his rippling muscles when I trip to catch me. And his voice, smooth as silk and so rich and deep, laced with his thick Scottish accent. The voice that makes me go weak at the knees.
