Chapter 2

Harry's P.O.V.

God I hate mornings. They should be outlawed. But alas, they can't.

I groaned as I rolled over and blinked away the last remnants of sleep in my eyes. I stretched and got up, getting dressed before wandering down the dimly lit hallway to Gil's room.

"Oy, mate! Get up!" I yelled as I pounded on the door.

Gil appeared at the door seconds later, already dressed and ready for the day.

"You're later than usual Harry." Gil said with a playful smile.

"Whatever," I said as I rolled my eyes.

I can't help that I was late. I was having the most wonderful dream about Y/N. It wasn't my usual salacious dreams I had on lonely nights, no. This one was much more pure.

I had saved her from a group of guys in an alley who pounced her. They must not have known they were messing with the daughter of the King of Hell himself. Y/N put up a good fight, she's always been amazing at fighting, but there were too many of them.

Luckily, such an outstanding hero as myself was there to rescue the fair maiden.

I snuck up behind the men and waited until the right moment before saying:

"Boo!"

Y/N looked at me, all the fear melting away from her face and relief taking its place.

"You'd be smart to leave the lovely lassie alone mates." I growled

"Oh yeah? And why should we?" One of the guys replied while eying Y/N up and down in the most disgusting way.

"I'll hook ye if ye don't leave her alone" I replied as I brandished my hook, freshly polished.

The men backed away in fear and finally scampered off. I turned to Y/N with worry painted all over my features.

"Did they hurt ye, darlin?'" I questioned

"No they didn't, thanks to you. Although some started getting a little handsy."

My eyes flashed dark and it must have startled Y/N because she backed away slightly.

"Don't worry love, I'll make sure that they won't bother you again."

"Oh Harry, how can I ever thank you?"

"I can think of a few ways" I purred as I pushed her gently against the wall of the alleyway.

"Harry," she breathed "I..."

I cut her off by pressing my lips softly against hers. Let me tell you something, I didn't know I could feel so much at once. Her lips were so soft and yet electric against mine. It sent goosebumps down my arms and sparks up my spine. They molded so perfectly with mine, it was as if they were made for me.

I pulled away after a little bit, giving both of us a chance to breathe. She looked up at me with utter admiration in her eyes.

"That was... incredible" She finally said.

"Aye love, it was indeed"

"Harry?"

"Yes darlin'?"

"Thank you for saving me"

I smiled at her.

"No problem princess"

"If I'm a princess then surely you're my knight in shining armor"

I couldn't help but blush at her words. Did she really think so highly of me?

Before I could think further on that, she had grasped the lapels of my red coat in her small hands and dragged me closer, standing on her toes and pressing her lips against mine. This time, there was much more passion in the kiss, and we both had to stop sooner than before, gasping for air.

"Lassie, you aren't a goddess for nothing, that's for sure. Gods I am so in love with you."

"I love you too Harry."

"Harry!" Gil said as he smacked my arm.

"What?" I asked annoyed.

"We were talkin' and then all the sudden you were starin' off into space"

"I was thinkin' laddie"

"What about?" He asked curious.

"A dream I had"

"Was it about Y/N?" he teased

"Actually yes, it was. I saved her life and she kissed me and told me she loved me"

"I thought she hated you"

"Trust me mate, I'll convince her of her true feelings." I said before we walked into Ursula's.

Y/N's P.O.V.

I smiled as I walked in, there was a low rumble of customers chatting and arguing. Despite the chaos, I felt at peace as I walked inside. I walked around back and found Ursula who shoved an apron and a tray of food in my direction. I tied the apron on and delivered the food to some "pirates" who were already extremely drunk at 9 in the morning.

"Thanksss so much *hic* darlin'" The drunkard slurred out

I winced. The only person who's ever called me darling like that was Harry. I mean sure my parents have said it, but that's different. It felt wrong when this man said it, especially since he was twice my age, probably more.

"Why don't you come join us pretty thing, and we can have a good time?" He tried to smile but he was so drunk it looked more like a grimace.

"No thanks sir." I replied and started walking away.

Before I knew it, my arm was being gripped harshly and I was being tugged back towards the table.

"Look pretty girl, you're nothin' but a lowly waitress workin' for money"

Boy was he wrong, but I didn't say anything.

"Stay here with us and have some fun, and we'll make sure you never have to work another day in your life." He growled

"Save me someone" I thought desperately.

Boom cliffhanger

You're welcome.

P.S. let me know if you'd prefer more of a slow burn type of romance or sooner and have it be more of a fluff.
