and for the greater half of my last relationship i wore his name on a chain around my neck like a badge of honor
like "hey, ask me about him"
i'm a feminist
and on the day i say "i do" i'll wear a pretty white dress and take his last name
because "omg, he's mine"
i'm a feminist
and i own over 50 pairs of shoes
like "i can't wear that pair with this outfit"
i'm a feminist
and "does this dress make me look fat"
and "can you see my dark circles"
and "will you tell him to wait i'm not ready yet"
and "is this skirt too pink is it not pink enough"
i'm a feminist
and none of this changes that
