Here's an update. I kind of cheated with a song but I still liked this chapter. It shows that Ben and Erica will not be pushed around by anyone. Hope you enjoy the chapter. The plot will be revealed soon.

Ben's P.O.V

Someone was most definitely after us. I didn't know why I didn't know if we had done something wrong, but we were being chased. I knew a big question was who were the ones after us? and I had gotten around to a few good guesses. I thought SPYDER was a big possibility and if it wasn't them then it was probably another big organization.

I had experienced dealing with SPYDER before but they hadn't really ever come after me. I always went to them. If it was SPYDER this was new territory for me and I would have to play smart or I might end up dead.

Me and Erica sat at a campfire we had made. We were just sitting there lost in thought. After sitting there for about 15 minutes, I realized that they would keep coming after us. They would keep finding us, I didn't know how they were finding us but it was happening. I saw that the only solution was to fight back. If we kept running and kept evading then it would only drain us until finally we would be caught.

"Erica?" I said. She looked up at me and I immediately felt depressed. They was no joy in those eyes no happiness. It pained me to see, just a few days ago we had been laughing and talking training and hanging out with friends now we were on the run from an unknown source.

"We can't keep running were going to have to fight," I said, sadly.

"Why is it always us? We're always in the thick of it fighting being accused. For once, I just want to be a normal Spy School student," She said. She would never admit it but I saw a tear slid down her cheek. So I did the only thing I could think of to cheer her up, I started singing.
I looked up at the stars and started singing quietly.

"There's gotta be a reason that I'm here on Earth
Gotta be a reason for the dust and the dirt
The changing of the seasons never changed my hurt
So what's it worth, what's it worth?
With another shot of whiskey and another sip of gin
Another drop of poison that is slowly sinkin' in
If we're going down together better take another hit
We won't be here forever so let's make the best of it
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
Walking down to the burial ground with a sad song in his brain
General Cloud is an old man now but it feels like yesterday
He was on the front lines, stranded on the beach
Crawling to his best friend, floatin' in the sea"

I stood up and started dancing around the fire. Erica looked up from the fire and at me.

"But he didn't make it, he still can't believe
How arbitrary fate is, he says...
There's gotta be a reason that I'm here on Earth
Gotta be a reason for the dust and the dirt
The changing of the seasons never changed my hurt
So what's it worth, what's it worth?
With another shot of whiskey and another sip of gin
Another drop of poison that is slowly sinkin' in
If we're going down together better take another hit
We won't be here forever so let's make the best of it
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
She went down to her job in town with a sad song in her heart
33 with a wasted dream to become a movie star
Living outta a suitcase, serving at a bar
Saving up some pennies working after dark
Is she gonna make it? She still can't believe
How arbitrary fate is, she says...
There's gotta be a reason that I'm here on Earth
Gotta be a reason for the dust and the dirt
The changing of the seasons never changed my hurt
So what's it worth, what's it worth
With another shot of whiskey and another sip of gin
Another drop of poison that is slowly sinkin' in
If we're going down together better take another hit
We won't be here forever so let's make the best of it
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh," I finished red cheeked and out of breath.

I looked at Erica who was looking at me smiling with a familiar glint in her eyes.

"You've been doing a lot of singing lately," She said, with a smirk. I laughed out loud.

"Would you rather take over?" I asked.

"Hmm I'll take the next song," she said. I couldn't tell if she was serious but at the time I didn't care.

I sat over next to Erica and wrapped my arm around her. She looked at me kind of weird but then smiled.

"I'm done running, we're going to face the monsters at are door and it's going to be a hell of a fight," I said. She nodded.

"I'm done running too, next time we see them they are going to have a nasty surprise," Erica said.
