They snuck their way towards Fairy cottage, under the cover of night. Carlos, Jay, CJ and Harry all in their element like they were back on the isle. They braced themselves for a fight but when they burst in there was no one there. Chad and Jay ran upstairs to check what used to be Auroras room. "She might have seen us coming," Mal realized. They all filed into the cottage.

"Shes not upstairs," Jay told them.

"Shes out of her mind," Brooke said looking at all the smashed plates and bowls. "And Maryweather is not gonna like the clean-up."

Which out much to go on they all walked out of the cottage, "Aright let's get this Audrey chick taken care of already," Uma said. Her and Mal laughed. "What do you say girl? Time to wrap things up?" they fist bumped.

"You know, some day, you guys are gonna have to tell me how you guys all got teamed up," Ben said.

"Actually, Mal promised to let all the kid off the Isle once this is over," Evie chimed in.

Ben's smile fell, "Mal?

Carlos and Brooke looked at each other, they knew it would come out sooner or later. Maybe it was better not to throw the kingdom to mass panic. Maybe they could give Ben the chance. Whatever the reasoning they had to explain themselves to Uma and Harry.

"I have to tell you guys something," Mal said making them all stop. "I lied to you the kids won't be coming off the isle."

"What do you mean?" Jay asked.

"The program has been shut down and the barrier will be closed for good."

Ben frowned, "For Auradons safety," it still felt wrong, those were his people, and he was turning his back on them. All because of his father, Brooke was right. Years ago, she had said that the man wasn't good, not truly. He believed her now.

Harry let out a self-deprecating laugh. "Hold up," Uma walked forward, "so were saving your precious people and your behinds for a lie?" She nodded betrayal clear on her face, "I knew it was a mistake to trust you, you're always out for yourself."

Harry looked over at the teenage king with a glare, "And ya! King Ben ey?" he looked like he wanted to take his head off, but his anger was quickly replaced with exhaustion, "Yer probably just gonna throw us all back inside," He looked at Brooke. "I thought all the bad blood had passed Brooky," he snarked but his voice broke. "We had a deal. Ya swore on your crest! Ya swore a betrayal to the crown, if need be, the both of ya."

Ben and Cece let out a small gasp, Mal was starting to understand what happened on the bridge, "we did, and we intend to keep that oath," Carlos said.

"You should know me by now Harry, I always keep my promises." She looked to her brother and Mal, "and I always find a way. When we found out the barrier would close fully, we realized the only way to stop that was to open it fully.," the tone in her voice was icy. The proposition, the tone, the raw anger in that shook her voice, it unsettled them, shook them all to their very cores. It was like they were staring at true villains like all the love and care had been drained from the two of them for anyone, but each other.

Mal shook her head, terror in her eyes, what would happen if they unleashed Hades, Jafar, Curella, the Evil Queen all those villains. It would be utter chaos, "You guys you- you can't."

"On the contrary Mal," Carlos started. "I did it ones before for a few seconds. The wand I used wasn't strong enough and Fairy godmother's wand is a no go considering how well its guarded, but an Andalasian wishing wand though, well let's just say; I can break the barrier again and intend to."

Ben looked at his sister, "Dad, you know what he'll do." He swallowed hard and took her arms in hand, "I can't lose you again." His eyes scanned her expression it wasn't blank like it had been for all those years. It wasn't dull like it was before Carlos came. It was angry, it was crazed, and it was timeless. It was the same expression she made when she was forced back into this realm. "You were gonna run. You were gonna leave, for good this time."
