You had woken in your apartment, wondering yourself if last night was even real. The kiss? You thought you had imagined it. A celebrity, to kiss someone like you? Impossible to think. Your eyes met your alarm clock, it was relatively early in a manner of speaking. However there was something different about your morning. You couldn't help but feel someone was watching you. You looked around your room, there wasn't anyone there. You stepped out of bed, the floor was cold to the touch, it made you shiver a moment. You stood up and stretched, as you normally did and you still couldn't shake the feeling as if someone was here.
You ran a hand through your hair and put on a robe. It was old, rather worn and yet it kept you warm no matter what time of year. You headed to the front of your apartment. Eyes open, ready for something to spring at you. Your eyes turned to the living room, there one your table you couldn't believe your eyes. A single white rose in a glass vase. A note card propped up against it. You carefully walked over, as if you were waiting for an attack.
"Thank you for the amazing night. Hope to see you soon xo- Robert."
You raised an eyebrow and grinned. "He hopes to see me soon?!" You thought aloud.
Your joyous celebration was cut off by a phone ringing. Your phone to be exact. It was Robert calling funny enough.
"Be cool" you thought to yourself. You took a breath and answered the phone but, puberty struck again and your voice again.
"HelLO" it squeaked. Robert chuckled and you embarassingly cleared your throat. "Robert--Uh Hi. Good Morning."
"Well hey there squeaker. Did you happen to get my gift?" He asked. That velvet voice allowed for goosebumps to envelope your skin.
"I did." Hoping your voice wouldn't crack again.
"You busy this morning? Would you care for breakfast?" He asked. "I really want, well actually, need to see you so...I'm also hungry and enjoy food. And I would like to enjoy food with, well you. So."
"I'd love to." You smiled. "Great I'll be there in 5. I'll wait until you get ready and we can go."
Your eyes widened, "Sure. Just uh--the door will be unlocked for you."
