Robert sat across from you from a dimly light park table eating ice cream and just chatting away. You were rather nervous and thought of millions of things to ask.
Robert however took the initiative and asked first.
"So first time out with a celebrity huh?" He bit his spoon and looked at you. His brown eyes seemed to light up the space around you both.
Another light flickered on, it created shadows across his 5 o'clock shadow that started to show.
You slowly removed your spoon from your mouth. "Uh, well yeah. Actually yes. I didn't know who you were on the phone until I heard the news and put two and two together."
Robert looked almost disappointed. "Well it's not everyday you mix up phone numbers." He retorted.
"I mix them up all the time." You admitted.
"Well me too I just didn't want to say it first. So y/n, what do you do? Other than ya know, go on blind dates with a celebrity who is practically a stranger. Didn't your mother ever teach you about stranger danger?"
"Well, I actually am a psychologist. Actually, I work for an office and I am new to the work force. Graduated college and needed to do some internships and now finally out on my own." You were a bit shakey. Obviously shakey and he could tell.
"So are you analyzing me now? Do I fit some kind of psychological profile?" He asked.
You looked around and made a joke, "You fit into the psychopath category to the T." You grinned hoping it didn't offend him.
"Wow. Psychopath huh? Who is the one who went out with a guy the barely know?" Robert smiled and bit his lip.
"I like you y/n. I mean I'd love to see more of you. Not in like a weird..way. Great, I am just, rambling now." He ran his hand through his hair.
"No that's great because I'd love to see you too. I know you are a busy man and such so. You know. When you are free you do have my number." You were unusually bold but, he captivated you in a way that you felt like you could be this outspoken.
"Well I know you are busy too. Picking people's brains apart and all." He grinned, softly he touched your hand. You pretended not to noticed but your body began to get chills.
"Well I set my own schedule really. It isn't too bad." You didnt notice but your hand began to have a mind of it's own. You wanted to look to see if it was real but you didn't want to be obvious.
You two were actually holding hands.
