11 ~ Delimma

"What's the meaning of this? Why did he suddenly appear just like how he mysteriously disappeared two years ago? He claimed that he likes me but i don't believe him, well not anymore. He had lost my trust and its gonna be hard for him to gain it back."

Esalyn stare ahead, her wide eyes exudes confusion and it was a little wet. She didn't even notice that she cried until she felt her warm tears streaming down her cheeks.

She knew that something bad will happen when he comes back into her life. Because he spells TROUBLE....

She hasn't had any feelings for him anymore but... She still detest him for disappearing when she need him the most 2 years ago.

She stared into the space thinking about the incessant questions forming in her head. But why? Why now? When everything has been good for her lately, why did he suddenly appear out of nowhere?

"Urgh! Whatever! I'll just ignore him!"

Her mind muttered in frustration but her face displayed a neutral expression.

Despite all the nonsensical thoughts in her mind, she still managed to be professional on the outside- handling sick or injured pets with full concentration & care.

Fortunately, the day ended pretty fast and she heaved a sigh of relief when the sky turned pinkish as the last customer had just left.

Hannah grabbed her wrist abruptly just as she was about to pack up and leave.

"Esalyn. You know i'm your best friend right? I may not know what's going on in your talented mind but... I do know something is troubling you. Mind sharing with me?"

Her eyes was fixated on her highlighting extreme concern and her hands were still on the stunned blonde's wrist.

She blinked unknowingly, she's sure that her mouth was slightly or even widely agape. How did she know? Lmaooo Hannah is definitely a mind reader, she thought.

Her friend was still glancing at her patiently and it slowly dawned on her that she's waiting for her reply.

"I-I it's a-about Javier.... He suddenly appeared in front of me. What did he expect of me? To get back together with him? Hell no, i wouldn't get c-cheated by him ever again!"

Her eyes darted on the floor and to her concerned friend's face as she tried to remain calm, she didn't want to breakdown; she didn't want to be reminded of the uneventful things that happened two years ago & she certainly didn't want to cry because of that J brute.

"I don't want to feel this way. How i wish that i didn't met him two years ago. What does he want? He has already tormented me enough! What more does he want?"

She sink onto her friend's shoulders, crying. She detest him for leaving her when she needed him; she detest him for gaining her trust easily when all he wants is money; she detest him for appearing in front of her again after disappearing mysteriously two years ago & she detest him for making her feel so much things....

Hannah embraced her crying friend without any words exhanged. But she doesn't mind at all, the silence is what she needs.

"Esalyn. I'll stay with you tonight, i wouldn't want you to think too much."

She broke the hug gently, making the still sobbing blonde look into her sincere eyes.

It took a little while and she managed to calm down, giving her patient friend a nod + an appreciative smile.
