I groan, and slowly begin to open my eyes. My neck aches, and my arm is pressed to my side. Once I finally open my eyes all the way, I begin to take a look around. I lift my head from its resting position which had been flopped awkwardly against my own shoulder and the back of the chair. I sit up, releasing my arm from between my side and the arm of the chair.

"Hey, Sie, it's okay. Do you know where you are?" Calum asks, as I discover him sitting in the seat on the other side of me. I nod, too tired to speak right now.

"Do you remember what happened?" He asks. I shake my head no, trying to remember why I fell asleep. Weren't we waiting to see Luke?

"Well we went in to see Luke, and I tried to stop you from seeing him like that, but you stepped around me and I won't go into too much detail but you almost puked and then you blacked out. The doctors checked you out and said you would be okay. I brought you into this room until you woke up. I requested a bed for you, but they didn't have any empty ones. I'm sorry." He explains looking really sad, and worried at the same time.

"I'm okay." I say as quietly as possible, trying not to use up all the energy I was slowly gaining back. He looks doubtful, but doesn't push it.

"He woke up, Sienna." Calum says, looking at me as if wondering if he should have told me or not.

"Then I have to go see him! He's now as much of my friend as he is yours! Did you already see him?" I ask getting a spurt of energy, standing up in an instant and immediately regretting it. I sway back and forth for a few seconds before plopping back down into my seat. Calum grabs my shoulder, as if making sure I wouldn't make that mistake again.

"Yes, I saw him. He asked me where you were, and I told him the truth. He's worried about you Sie. He even told me to leave and take care of you." He says, standing up slowly, and grabbing my hand.

"Are you sure you want to see him?" He asks, helping me stand up as slowly as possible. All the while he kept his free hand against my back, incase I fell backwards.

"Yes." I say confidently, sounding a lot more certain that I really was.

We walked down the hall, not saying a word to each other. When we reach the door leading into his room, I stop, taking a deep breath. Trying to ready myself for what I know I've seen once before, but can't remember. How bad had it been to make me black out?

"Oh." I gasp, as I push my way into the room. Luke slowly looks over to me, a lazy smile spreading across his thin lips. They were cracked and dry, but he didn't seem to notice.

"Luke, I'm so sorry." I whisper to him, walking over and grabbing a hold of his hand. It was cold and clammy.

"Don't be sorry. None of this is your fault." He says, softly.

"It doesn't have to be my fault for me to feel terrible." I say, holding back tears.

"You shouldn't feel terrible. I brought this upon myself." He smiles a sad, and somehow cruel smile.

"No, Luke you're wrong." Michael says, hopping up from the seat next to him. I barely even noticed him. The life had drained out of him, he looked so sad and broken. He wasn't his normal peppy, loud, self. He was a different person.

"Michael, I got drunk, and I got behind the wheel. I could have killed that man. I heard two of  the nurses talking. He's married. He had told her that he had two kids at home. It was his little girls birthday. Guys he was on his way home from work, with her present in the front seat. Do you know what that present was?" He asks, tearing up.

"A kitten. It was a baby kitten. And let me tell you, that poor thing didn't see me coming, and the way I slammed into the back end of their car, god. That kitten must have been thrown around like a ragdoll. I can only guess it snapped its neck. The nurse didn't say much on the subject. All she did say was that it died. I killed an innocent kitten. A little girls birthday present!" He says, now full out sobbing. I squeeze his hand lightly, not sure if I should hug him. It might hurt him.

"Luke, when did you hear all this?" Michael whispers, standing now, pulling Luke into him. Luke clutches to him like a life line.

"When I woke up. It was the first thing I heard. I heard my name as I was waking up. I started to pay attention. Guys, what have I done?" He says, still sobbing into Michaels side.

"Mikey, what have I done?" Luke cries harder now, sounds now coming out of him that don't even sound human anymore. Michael runs his fingers through Luke's hair, whispering words I can't hear over the sobbing.

"It will be okay." is all I catch at first and then he switches to something I can't really make out. I can tell he keeps saying it over and over. His mouth keeps moving in the same motions. I begin to read his lips, and my heart almost stops.

I love you, baby boy. Forever and Always.
