Looney Lovers (Bugs Bunny x Reader)

Chapter 4

(Y/N) drove home in silence, her mind needing to regroup. A party in my honer? Are these guys serious?! Back home I would've got nothing but a slap on the back that hurt more then congratulated. (Y/N)'s smile quickly faded. Here she was, living the dream while her 3 brothers and Klia worked hard on the farm. I miss them so much... She noticed her own sniffling and stopped thinking about her home. They know this is my dream!! They're happy for me. I hope... She pulled up to the apartment building she was staying in, parking her car and walking to the door. Deep breaths. You'll be ok just relax. (Y/N) put on a happy face and walked into the building.

The place wasn't run down at all. It was like an apartment building for superstars and rich people. Of course, (Y/N) was neither of those things, but the Corp. would be paying for it until she got her first  paycheck, which was supposedly a lot. "Hello Ms. Wolf, how are you this fine evening?" A voice said. (Y/N) turned around to see her neighbor, Yosimite Sam, walking behind her. "Oh, hi Mr. Um... Sam. I'm great thank you." She responded, not sure if Yosimite was his first or last name.

Sam fondled with his keys, before puting one in his door and turning it. "You did great today. I can't wait to see more of your shows." He said, opening the door. (Y/N) unlocked her own door, pushing it open as well. "Thank you Mr. Sam!! Have a good  night." She replied, stepping into her apartment. She heard a faint 'You too' before hearing another Sam's door shut.

She pushed her door closed, and slid down it, her fake smile disappearing. I thought this would be easy. Coming here and acting, visiting my pack every chance I get. But it's hard. I can't... (Y/N) pushed herself up and walked to her room, muttering "Can't isn't a word." Before shutting her bedroom door.

~With Bugs~

Bugs opened the door to his mansion, shouting to no one, " I'M HOME!!". He slammed his door, walking immediately up the grand stairs and to his room, ignoring his butler's greeting. Bugs fell face-first onto his king sized bed, covered in oranged and white blankets, pillows, and sheets.

"Sir Bunny, I brought you some carrots." His butler, Richard, walked into the room, carrying a tray of carrots. Even though Bugs did perk up a bit at the smell of carrots, his still only grunted as a response. "May I ask what is wrong, Sir?" Richard asked, sitting on the edge of Bugs' bed. " Rich, can I get some advice?" Bugs asked, sitting up and turning to face his butler. "You can ask me anything Sir." "What do you do if you think you love someone but you know you can never be together because you're co-workers?" Bugs fell back onto his bed, his back on it now instead of his face.

" Well, Sir, if you think you love someone, but you're co-workers, make sure you KNOW you love them before you do anything. Also, make sure they love you back. You may be able to work something out if you really feel for each other, but, I guess, there's nothing else I can say. That's really all you can do Sir." Richard replied, patting Bugs' leg. "Thanks Rich. You can go to bed now." Bugs shooed him off, chewing on his lip. "Goodnight Sir." Richard got up and left the room, closing the door softly behind him.

I hope she does love me back. But I must wait. There's really no way to tell, unless I give her time. Bugs thought, looking out the glass doors that lead to his balcony. He got up, walking to them and pushing them open. He leaned on the rail, his hair brushing against his fourhead because of the gentle breeze. Looking up at the stars, Bugs sighed. "(Y/N), I know you can't here me, but I will wait for you. For you and your love. Take as long as you want, but I'm always going to be here. Ready for the day you tell me you feel the same." He looked at the stars for a while longer, before heading inside and going to bed.

(Y/N) really was lucky that Bugs chose her. Or maybe, just maybe...

It's the other way around.
