Looney Lovers (Bugs Bunny x Reader)

Chapter 9

Bugs sighed as he was dragged back towards the skating rink, watching (Y/N) pull out of the lot with a dreamy look. Suddenly, Daffy let go of Bugs' collar and shoved him into a wall.

"I know what you're doing Bugs." Daffy spat with venom dripping from his voice. "Daffy I--" Bugs tried to speak, but the stubborn duck wouldn't have it.

"You could get fired!! " Daffy yelled. "Daffy," "No Bugs you don't understand! I know she's hot and all but you can't... Do whatever you're doing!" The wild duck spoke in a shout, flailing hit arms in the air.

Bugs let out a frustrated huff before slapping a hand over Daffy's mouth. "Daffy I know this. It's just so hard to resist..." Daffy softened a bit, pulling the now agitated bunny's hand off of his mouth. "I know Bugth, I'm just-- I just don't want you to make a mistake you can't fix and ruin your dream." The duck looked at Bugs with a look in his eyes that said 'I'm here for you.'

Bugs thought for a moment, before letting go of Daffy and walking towards his car. He stopped for a moment and looked at him. "I don't think I can ruin my dream if my dream is her."

Daffy sighed and watched Bugs walk to his car, before starting to walk back into the building. "See you tomorrow buddy." He called.

~Time Skip~

Bugs once again burst into his home, ignoring Richard's greeting and heading straight to his room. Why is she so tempting? Why can't she just go away so I can live my life!! Bugs let out a frustrated yell, swiping his hand over his desk and knocking God knows what all over the floor.

Richard slowly opened the door, knowing full well that Bugs was having another breakdown. "Sir?" Richard asked in a quiet and meek voice. Bugs looked over at him, his eyes glistening with tears. All of a sudden, Bugs collapsed on the floor, wallowing in his own tears.

Richard walked over to Bugs, sitting on the floor beside him and putting the crying bunny's head on his lap. "There there sir. You're going to be ok."
