I'm still running. Maybe I had missed a turn? No, surely not. At least I don't think so...

Okay, maybe a left here? Or a right? Ugh! Berk these days is just so confusing! Wait, how would I know? I've never been here! Mind, just shut up!

That must have worked, because my mind doesn't speak. It only replays six minutes ago. The sensation of my lips on Hiccup's. The beauty.

My memories are interrupted by me tripping over a stick. Typical.

I don't know where I am. Maybe I should have stayed with Hiccup...he could have shown me my way to the castle.
I sit down and rub my aching ankle.
I sigh, and bury my face in my knees.

Is my kingdom completely deserted? I don't understand...
I don't understand what I've done. How could I be so careless? How could I be so stupid to let a servant take over for a few years?!

"Elsa?" I heard Jack's voice. I turned around, and flinched at his presence. But I was also relieved.
"Jack!" I run and start to sob on his shoulder.
"Woah, what's wrong?" he asked.
"I'm so careless and so stupid! Our kingdom is ruined, because of me!!"
"No Elsa, it was my fault too. I recommended Kai. We both took part in this disaster."
I just keep sobbing and Jack rocks me back and forth.
"M-M-Mot-ther and F-F-Fat-ther
w-would be s-so disappointed in m-me!!"
"Us. They'd be disappointed in us, Elsa."
I sniffle. "Do we need to go back right now, and sort things out?"
I look up at him.
"B-but..."
He raises an eyebrow.
"I'm waiting," he said impatiently.
I nod.
"I need to say goodbye to a few people..." I mutter. Jack nods.
"Well, come on. Let's go. I'm oldest, so I'll lead the way out."
"Jack, I'm older than you."
"By. Five. Minutes."
"But since you are my brother, go right ahead."
Jack takes my arm, and pulls me back the way I came.
After a few minutes, we end up back in the little town of Berk.
"Now go say goodbye. I'll get Anna and Kristoff," Jack says, and walks away.
Where is Hiccup?
I look over at the bench that we kissed at, but he wasn't there.
I walk all around. I enter the restaurant where I had soup spilled all over me, and looked around. No Hiccup.
I start to head to his house.
I knock thrice, and Valka opens the door.
"Oh, Elsa. Hello. Can I help you?" she asks.
"Oh, yes. Is Hiccup here?" I ask.
"I'm sorry, he's not."
"Oh...well, I have one more thing left. I want to thank you for all of your work, and letting us stay here at Berk for a little while...
My family and I are leaving today. If you see Hiccup, tell him...goodbye," I say sadly.
Valka nods.
"Hiccup said he was headed to your castle to see you, actually."
I look up.
"Oh, really?"
"Yes. Well, if you'll excuse me, I must go. And you're welcome. We were glad you could come. Goodbye, your majesty."
She bows, and I nod.
I turn away, and walk to my ice castle.
Sadness wells inside me, but I keep it in. Maybe I can visit him every now and then...yes! I can!
I continue my happy thoughts to my castle, but once I get there, I stop in my tracks.
Those happy thoughts? Gone. The sadness? Gone. The rage and hurt? Yep, it's there. And the feelings may kill me.
In front of me, is Hiccup. And in front of him, is Astrid.
There is no space between the two.
They're lips are locked.
I fall back, but my back runs into a tree.
I stand there, clutching my heart.
It aches so terribly.
Tears form, and slide down my cheeks.
Hiccup shoves Astrid off, and looks at me.
His face...I don't care how sorrowful it is. I don't want to see it again.
"E-Elsa, I didn't mean t-" he started to walk toward me, but I held my hands up.
Icicles surrounded me, protecting me from him.
"D-don't get near me..." I whimper. He takes another step.
I knock him down with a blast of snow, and icy wind.
But he gets back up.
"Elsa, please!!" he pleads.
"No!" my voice gets stronger, but he keeps getting closer.
I see Toothless out of the corner of my eye melt a part of my icicle circle.
Hiccup steps inside my circle.
He's only a meter away...
"Get away!!"
Ice spreads from my feet, and leaves a trail as I back up.
He keeps getting closer.
I whimper again, and tears fall.
He almost touches me, but a giant blast of ice and wind smashes into Hiccup. I look up, and see Jack hovering above us. Far above us.
"GET AWAY FROM HER!!"
He swings his staff as if it's a baseball bat, and ice bursts from it like a bolt of lightning.
Large cracks of thunder approach us, and I shiver.
Jack missed him.
Hiccup stood back up, and tried to get near me again, but another ring of icicles surrounded me.
And these ones were like barbed wire.
They were so sharp that it was painful to look at.
Jack flew to the ground, and punched Hiccup in the face.
Toothless growled, and charged Jack.
"TOOTHLESS, NO!!" I screamed.
I had no choice. I can't let my brother die in front of me.
I closed my eyes, and flung my hands in the air.
My powers hit Toothless.
Everything stopped.
I looked around. Astrid was gone, Hiccup's face was bloody, and I felt my body be pulled into the air.
Jack was flying, and carrying me.
I didn't care.
I just cried on my brother.
I thought of the love that I had for Hiccup. I thought he cared about me.
I whispered in Jack's hoodie to myself,
"I thought it was real."
