Hiccup

My stomach growls as I open my eyes. It's midnight. I hear Toothless's stomach growl as well.

I look at my dirty, torn up clothes. Yeah, I need new ones. Maybe if I can sneak into home and- no! The stupid royalty is in there! I don't want to see them!

My stomach growls again.

Yes.

No.

Yes.

No.

Yes.

No.

Toothless growls.

"I guess that's a yes. *Sigh* alright buddy, let's go home," I say as I hop onto his saddle. He smiles, and we take off.

I feel the wind whip my face as we fly high into the sky, away from 'Arendelle', or at least that's what the servant called it.

I reach up, and touch the clouds, soaking my hands. I laugh as I look at the stars above us. It's so beautiful and free.

Toothless dives down, and my stomach tickles in exhilaration. I almost panic when Toothless touches the sea water, but then he turns up, and we glide along the blue water. I've always wondered how far these salty waters go down. I know it's extremely deep.

I close my eyes, and smile at my freedom. I know that it won't last. I know that I will have to become chief one day, but I don't want to. I want my freedom to last forever. I want to read my books when I want to, and fly whenever. I want to fly the world with Toothless. To discover the unknown. It's freedom.

When we reach my roof, I jump off, and slowly sneak into my room. I hope no body is in here. I might have a heart attack if there is.

I look around. It's quiet. Oh, thank god.

I open my dresser, and take off my brown armor with the red face on the shoulder. I never really liked his stuff, but my mom made me wear it. Mothers.

I take out my favorite green shirt and brown vest. Thankfully, mom has washed them.

I put on some brown pants, and my fur boots. There. I am myself again. Then, my stomach growls. Ugh.

I sneak down stairs, praying that no one is down here.

I look around. It's empty. Did the ship make it here? A part of me says "who cares? They're royalty!" and the other says "I hope they're okay..."

I am so wierd.

I open up the pantry, and take a basket of fish. Eh, mom won't care. I smile as I sneak back upstairs, and to my room. I open the window, and climb on my roof. I hook up the basket to Toothless, and I hop on the saddle. I nudge him with my foot and metal leg, and we take off again. We blend into the darkness. Toothless is a Night Fury, after all.

I direct him to our thinking place. It was also the first place that we had met. You know, after I had torn part of his tail off. Oops.

I stop him in mid air, and we just hover over the trees. In the distance, a glitter catches my eye. My eyebrows collide as I look at the enormous snowflake hovering above the trees, like we are. What the?

I fly Toothless over to it, and I get a better view of it. But it's summer! Crazy...

We get closer to it, and I gasp in astonishment. The snowflake is sitting atop an ice castle. Oh my dragons.

I fly Toothless down to the ground, and I realize where we are. We're in our thinking place. How dare they build this here! This place was supposed to be sacred! I fill with rage, and jump off of Toothless. I can't believe this! They took rightful property of mine and Toothless! Then again, something about this thing is...remarkable. I circle around it several times, admiring all of the snowflakes engraved into the outer walls. This looks a little...familiar. I can't put my finger on it though. I shrug, and walk over to Toothless, who is fishing in the ponds. He caught several. I laugh, and take out the basket of fish. I start to eat some, then I notice something that I haven't noticed yet. The walls are almost see-through, and a blurry figure is walking around on the second floor. I can't see much, but I can see colors. There's blonde, and blue. Wierd.

I stand up, and walk a little closer. I then notice a balcony up there. It over looks the forest. Cool.

Just then, the doors to the balcony opened, and the most beautiful thing that I had ever seen in my life walked out of them. It was a woman, in a long, shimmering dress that complimented her pale skin that glowed in the moonlight. Her platinum blonde hair was wrapped up in a messy braid, and slung across her left shoulder. I couldn't see her face though, I was too far away. Who is that woman?

For the slightest second, I swear that she looked at me, but then a boy with white hair came out, and made her look away. Dang it.

Who's he? Is he her boyfriend? Wait, why do I care? I don't care about anyone except for mom. Right?

I study the woman closely. I still can't really see her face. The boy, however, I can see his face just fine. He had blue eyes, pale skin, a rough frown, and white hair. He has some sort of staff. Wierd. Was he a cripple? Ha!

The boy made the woman laugh, and I wanted to melt. Her voice was like an angel's. I smiled at it.

I was so distracted by her that I almost didn't notice her shove the boy off of the balcony. I gasped.

I gasped again when the boy didn't fall...he flew. What the hell? The boy looked raged, and the woman was laughing even harder.

"ELSA!!!!" the boy yelled. Is that the woman's name? Elsa. Elsa. I stumble back, and Toothless caught me. Elsa. Elsa. I've heard that name before. She's the Queen that the servant was talking about. She's the royalty that mom had mentioned yesterday. She's the one that had frozen the kingdom, and went sailing with her brothers and sisters. Woah.

"Oh Jack, when will you grow up?" she says. Jack must be the Prince. Crazy. Eew, so they're not dating? UGH, WHY DO I CARE?!?!?

"I'm more mature than you'll ever be!" Jack yelled back at Elsa, and Elsa just snickered.

"Oh please," she gasped for air from laughing so hard.

"I'm the oldest, too!" Jack yelled. Is he? Why isn't he King then? Then, a girl with strawberry blonde hair walked next to Elsa. They don't look alike at all, but then again, I can't really see Elsa's face.

"Jack, we all know that you are the second oldest!" she yells.

"Butt out Anna!!" Jack yells Anna. Hmm. That name sounds familiar too.

"Oh come on Jack, stop being jealous that I'm the oldest," Elsa says.

"BY FOUR MINUTES!!!!" Jack rages. The temperature drops. Is this what siblings are like? This is entertaining, and I've got the best seat in the house.

Then Anna walks back inside, and Jack follows. They slam the doors shut, and Elsa sighs. She looks up at the stars, and smiles. There and then, I saw her face, and I wanted to cry. It was Aphrodite beautiful. She had astonishing blue eyes that reflected the stars above her. She had a button nose. She had rosy lips. She had perfect brown eyebrows. She had pale cheeks splashed with freckles. She was beautiful, and I wanted to talk to her. I wanted to fly on Toothless and impress her. Anything to get her to notice me. What is this feeling?

I have been through it before with Astrid, but it wasn't even near this strong.

Elsa looks down, and I think she saw me. I heard her gasp, and she ran back into the castle. Just great.

"Well..let's go bud," I say to Toothless I think it's safe to go home now.
