The sun shines through the misty skies. This means summer is over. Not only is summer over my life is over to.

I don't believe I have to move and leave all my friends , forget all the memories and start over. I know I'm 17 and could just stay here instead of going with my mom but Australia is a long ways away from here and I don't want to live that far from her, at least not before I get my career started.

I'm just worried that they're going to hate me. I never learned how to make friends because I live in a small town and grew up with everyone who lives here. We are like family.

"Allison... Allison!" I quickly look up from my window to see my mom standing in the hallway. It looks like she has been there for awhile, I must have been spacing out.

"Are you done packing yet?" she asks.

"Almost you asked that like 10 minutes ago"

"Ok, you have 15 minutes then we need to head to the airport"

I roll my eyes at her as she walks away. I don't even want to go she shouldn't rush me. What do you even pack for a month? I don't want to forget anything . My mom's friend is going to send the rest of our stuff in the mail but little at a time so my mom told me to pack enough stuff for a month. I quickly shoved some stuff in a bag and pack it in the car.

My mom gets in the car and starts the engine. I always sit in the back and put my earphones in. I like to block out the sound with my music. It takes away my stress and anxiety for a while. If it was possible to listen to my music 24/7 I would probably have no stress or anxiety but unfortunately I can't. I'm forced to listen to people talk crap and be annoying. I pretty much only listen to music on long car rides because that's the only time I don't have to listen to people talking to me. After the song 21 guns from Greenday ends I look down at my phone to change the song but then I feel the car stop moving. I look up to see why.

"We're here!" My mom says with enthusiasm

"Now we need to get on a 17 hour flight from Oregon to Australia. How fun!" I say sarcastically
