Familiarity.

"you'll know later" Jake replied with a mysterious smile.

Kiel could only hide his curiosity and speculate in his mind who this people really are.

"Damn you Jake!! You're actually together with them!" roared by the chief. He was really fuming in anger. There was actually a rat who's been freely roaming underneath his nose.

"Shut him up and tie him up, he still have some value" said by one of the soldiers, he seems to be leader of this group of soldiers, Kiel couldn't see his face as he was wearing a black mask. He could feel that messing with him wouldn't be a wise choice. Two soldiers behind approached the chief.

"Shut up!" shouted by one soldier as whacked the head of the chief with the butt part of his gun. While the other one tied the chief up.

"ackk!" blood flowed down through his face, he gritted his teeth, he spat at the soldier's boots "F*ck you! Who ever you are, you would all pay for this!!!"

"this one is tough nut." Seeing the chief still holding on, the soldier put more strength and hit the chief's face again.

"this one is still alive sir." two soldiers were seen dragging a bloodied body near them, it was the squad leader. He survived the blast it left him with numerous wounds, he was barely alive.

The leader of the group approached the bloodied squad leader.

*cough**cough* "I... w-w-on't tell yo-you... a thing... let... me... die a s-soldier's..... death"

"there's no value in him anymore, they're all the same, it would take a lot of work just to make them spill the it all out. But this one... he won't live long."

He kneeled and slowly spoke "since you have no use, I'll fulfill your last wish." He stood up and pulled a pistol from his holster and aimed at the head.

The barely holding squad leader closed his eyes, waiting for his death to come.

*bang*

Smoke were coming out of the barrel, he put close to his mouth and blew it, before putting it back to his holster. He looked at Kiel.

Kiel felt his hairs standing and became tense, he looked back and he felt strange seeing countless complex emotions deep in his eyes.

'why do I feel a familiarity from him?' he thought to himself in confusion. He knew he never met this person once but he gives off a sense of familiarity, like someone who was really close to him.

The leader shifted his eyes to Jake and approach him.

"You've done a good job. teacher has been waiting for your return, he's been nagging me about your return, both of you actually" he said looking at Kiel.

Surprised, Kiel asked "me? What about me? I don't know anything related about that teacher of yours"

"you know him, you just can't remember, he will tell you all" he no longer looked at kiel, he commanded his men to clean up the sight.

"h-h-hey, what are you doing!" a man was struggling while being dragged by the soldiers, he guy who peed himself.

"shut up" shouted by one of the soldiers, followed by a kick to his face. While the other one was making fun him by pointing a gun on his head "hahaha, see this gun? I could put some dozen of bullets into your body with you dying. What? Scared? You gonna pee yourself again? Hahaha."

"PLEASE NO! I-I-I'll give you money! Yes! I have a lot of money!! just please don't kill me!!"

"that's enough!" the leader interrupted "have them tied up and their head covered put them at the back of the truck"
