"On your horses! We need to hurry. The scouts have spotted the royal fleet making their way to the burial grounds."

The leader of the group kicked his horse and sped through the road. It was bumpy and rough. Kiel bumped from person to person. It was crowded inside the cage. He looked around saw different people from different ages. Men and women alike. They had the same ragged clothes and unkempt look. Their hands were locked in chains.

It wasn't a long journey, a few moments later and they could see a mountain. Which was taller, bigger, grander than any other. They seems to have arrived at the very core of the mountain ranges. Up ahead, numerous sky-ships rose in to the air. Dozens and dozens of energy cannons stationed at its hulls. It was a grand fleet, the same as the burning legion back in the sect.

"Hurry up! we don't have much time!"

They've reached the tunnel on the side of the mountain. There were many hooded figures each towing their batch of prisoners. Kiel could tell that there were hundreds of them.

They were all screaming. pleading. There were some even cursing and threatening, stating their backgrounds.

"Release me at once! Don't you know that I'm a young master from a powerful sect!? My Fiery Reverie Sect won't let you go! You'll all pay for this!"

'They really had the guts to abduct someone from a first-tier powerhouse, ever more, it was from a central power! Just below the Royal Longs.' Kiel thought.

A big burly man wearing red heavy armor and had long beard, smashed his sheath onto the cage. He shouted "Make them shut up!" He then waved his hands and a few people came running over. They bowed, in unison the respectfully said. "Your order my lord!"

"Take them inside and speed up the process. I don't care what happens to them, just make it quick!"

The cages were brought inside the tunnel. It was spacious. Along the way, Kiel could make out writings in the wall. There were also different kinds symbols, like hieroglyphics from ancient Egypt. Kiel could make out battles from the portrays of monsters and a depiction of a grand army. What took his attention the most was a beast covering a whole section of the wall. It was painted in black and had deep scarlet eyes, it was even breathing black fire.

'Just what is this place? And what kind of monster was that? From the books the past Yang Chen read, there was no any records or even folklore about this mysterious beast' He thought

They reached the end of the tunnel and was shocked by what they saw. This very mountain was actually hollow inside. Numerous massive scaled palaces could be seen all over. From the vibe it was giving, this seems to be a excavation site. There were different people observing and studying each relic and landmarks. In the middle, they could make out a statue of epic proportions. It was a giant black beast. It's outline was vague because of the deep black color, like it was deliberately hiding in the shadows. They could only make out its eyes that were halfway open, radiating fierce red lights.

But one thing was for sure. It was awe-inspiring!

Kiel couldn't marvel the grandness of the site, deep inside he knew that he would be offered soon.

Kiel was horrified as they arrived at the center square, there were piles and piles of dead bodies, dried corpses to precise. The men piling them up and set them ablaze in fire.

He looked at the front of the statue. there were pillars in a circular formation. Numerous red runes flickered on it and on the ground. .

People were lined up, their hands and feet tied together by iron shackles. They had it worse, tears stained their faces and blood and dirt stained their clothes. The black robed men yelling and cursing, hitting them with clubs and whips. Every strike left scars, bruises and even deep gashes.
