The Bad Boy and The Nerd (Solby)

Chapter 1

School was starting today and it was Sam's first day of Sophomore year. He wasnt very excited considering his bully goes there.

Sam got out of bed and stretched. He had one friend, Katrina. He wasnt very popular in school, he was known as the band kid and the nerd of the school. He met Katrina while he was watching the school musical his freshman year. They became close very quickly and told each other everything. Sam was openly gay so he got bullied alot.

Sam got dressed after brushing his teeth, he put on his glasses before grabbing his backpack and leaving the house. He sighed as he walked to school, it was a 15 minute walk, it was peaceful and quiet. That wasnt going to last very long as he got to the school. He walked in and went to his locker, he put his stuff away before he was shoved against the locker. He turned around and came face to face with the brunette, Colby Brock, the bad boy of the school. "Welcome back freak." He shoved him again before walking away and laughing with his friends. Sam sighed and picked up the notebooks he dropped. Sam had a huge crush on Colby, he hated it because he knew that Colby hated him. He didnt do anything to Colby but from day 1, Colby had it out of him.

"Sam! I missed you!!" Kat said as she ran up and hugged Sam "i missed you too" Sam smiled. They walked to their classrooms and said goodbye. Sam walked in and sat down before class started. He was in English class, it was his second favorite class, he loved writing. He heard the bell ring and took out his notebook as the teacher started writing the lesson on the board.

"Jake, you are late to class." Sam looked up and saw one of Colby's bestfriends. He groaned as Jake smirked at him and sat down next to him.

"Whats up freak" Jake said taking his pencil. "My name is not freak. Its Sam. Can i please have my pencil back?" Jake smirked before breaking it in half and handing it back to him. "Oops." Sam groaned. This is gonna be a long year.

When the bell rang Jake grabbed Sam's arm before pulling him into the hallway and slamming him against the wall "dont talk back to me freak. We can make this year hell for you." Sam nodded slowly, Jake was very close to his face. Colby's whole group was full of the hottest guys in school, and some of the prettiest girls. Jake smirked before grabbing Sam's chin "goodbye Nerd" he shoved Sam again before leaving. Sams face was bright red, he was very close to Jake's face. He shook his head before walking to his next class, he walked into the classroom and saw Colby leaning against the wall talking to a girl. He put his head down and quickly sat down avoiding eye contact with him. "Well look who it is. Samuel John Golbach." Colby slammed his hand down on the desk in front of Sam making him jump. Colby smirked "Jake told me a story that i thought was pretty funny. You see, he told me you talked back to him. And thats not okay now is it?" Sam shook his head slightly, scared of Colby.

"Next time Jake wont be so easy on you, got it?" Sam gulped and nodded his head. Colby sat down in his seat glaring at Sam. He sighed knowing that this year was going to be awful.
