Chapter 11

The next two days Colby didnt go to school. It was now Friday and Sam was leaning against his locker talking to his new group of friends Kat, Brennen, Tara, and Jake. They were talking when Corey walked into the school with Colby next to him, Jake looked at Colby before looking back at the group "does it look like hes been crying?" Sam nodded while everyone says yes. Colby went to his locker without saying a word to anybody, Corey walked up to us "stop staring at him." Jake looks at Corey "has he been crying?" Corey looks back at Colby who is digging through his locker grabbing all his stuff  "yes he has. Has been for the last three days. He hasnt slept or had anything to eat at all" Jake looked at Colby before walking over to him, Sam looked over to see Colby close his locker gently and look at Jake confused. Corey watched Jake cautiously "what happened?" Sam asked while looking at Jake and Colby "hes dealing with alot. You stealing everything from him is one of those things." Sam looked at Corey confused "im sorry? Im not stealing anything from him" Jake walked back over to us "why is he clutching his arms Corey." Corey looked at Jake "why do you care? In fact why do any of you care?" He scoffed before walking over to Colby.

"Guys... i really think Colby isnt okay" Sam looked at him "what do you think is wrong?" Jake shrugged "when i went over there to talk to him he was cautious and he was speaking really quietly, i could barely hear him, then he looks extremely tired and exhausted.. and.. i think he harmed himself..." Sam bit his lip.

As soon as the bell rang for class and the group split up, Sam ran down the hall to where Colbys class is. He saw Colby and ran faster before calling for him, Sam watched as Colby stopped walking and looked in his direction confused, Sam stopped as he got to him catching his breath "whats wrong?" Colby asked confused "are you okay? Whats wrong you can always talk to me? Colby i thought you knew that" he looked down "i-i need to go to class...." Sam grabbed Colbys hand softly "please talk to me" Colby bit his lip trying not to cry.

"Please let me go to class... im already failing..." Sam shook his head "not until you talk to me" Colby tried pulling his hand away, before giving up and sighing "Sam.. can you stop by my house after school and we can talk then?" Sam nodded "of course Colby" Sam kissed his cheek before walking away. He texted Jake.

SAMantha🐿- Jacob!

Jakey🦃- Samuel!

SAMantha🐿- im going to Colby's house after school to talk to him. I just talked to him in the hall and he was close to crying.

Jakey🦃- keep me updated! OH i have something to tell you during LUNCH

SAMantha🐿- okay ill see you then

Sam put his phone away and walked to his classroom. He sat in his seat and started drawing, it started out as a simple heart but he added more and more to it. Sam hummed along to the song in his headphones quietly before the bell rand. He quickly put his things away and walked to his next class, he had it with Colby. As he walked into the classroom he saw Corey hugging Colby as he was crying. Corey looked over at Sam while rubbing his back "hey Colby Sam's here." Colby wiped his eyes quickly and looked down "you okay Colby?" Colby nodded "yeah... thanks anyway Sam.." Sam sat down and took out his phone and texting the groupchat

MA BITCHES

Sam- i just walked into my classroom to see Colby crying on Corey's shoulder

Jake- COLBY WAS CRYING?!

Kat- is he okay?
Kat- :(

Tara- im sure someone in this group has seen Colby cry

Brennen- i haven't seen him cry EVER and i was friends with him for YEAAAAARS

Tara- maybe he doesnt like crying in front of people!

Sam- not gonna lie to y'all..... he looks sexy as fuck when he cries... 20/10 would smash again

Jake- HES ALL YOURS SAMUEL!!!! I SHIP IT #SOLBY

Sam- weirdo

Kat- that was lowkey creepy jakester

Brennen- JAKESTER😂😂😂

Jake- hold up jumping off a cliff

Sam- ILL MEET YOU IN HELL EVENTUALLY

Jake- damn

Sam put away his phone laughing, Colby looked at him and Sam smiled at him. Colby looked away before putting his head down. Sam sighed and bit his nail, the stress starting to get to him. Sam's phone was blowing up in his pocket, Colby looked at him. "Jake tends to blow up phones...." Sam looked at Colby and smiled before laughing gently "we have a groupchat together and its constantly going off" Colby looked down "sounds fun...." he bit his lip.

Sam sighs. Maybe they could all be friends again. Or back to the way it was.
