Chapter 2

Third Person's POV

Osaka... She'll miss this place. She'll miss the people, she'll miss the cherry blossom. Basically she'll miss all the things here.

Well guess her mom and step dad wants to take the road... Without her. Well its ok, atleast she'll spend time with her real dad back in korea and maybe she'll study their too cause her mom and her husband wants some alone time.

"Mina! Honey lets go! You don't want to miss you flight" she heard mother said. She sigh and walk towards my door. She glance at my room one last time before finally going out

"Honey what took you so long?" her mom ask while picking up my bags

"Nothing eomma don't sweat about it"

Her mother looks at her for a moment, but dismissed it in an instant. Her stepdad put ber luggage on the trunk and they made their way to the airport

"Minari!" Mina heard her dad yell as soon as he see me walking. She smiles and hug him tight.

"Oh dear I miss you so much" Akira (Mina's dad) said as he hugs Mina. Mina hug him back "I miss you too dad"

Mina and Akira made their way out the airport and to his car. He put her bags and luggage to the trunk. By the time he finish, Mina is already sleeping as she was tired because of her flight. Akira smiles as he carress his daughters head. "I miss you sweetheart, welcome home" he whisperes softly and starts the car.

Akira starts the car and drove to their neighborhood. The ride is silent. Akira has been observing their surroundings, as usual theirs teenagers riding their skateboards and adults with their shopping bags.

What caught Akira's attention is a group of girls with such pale skin. One of them stares at Akira for a second before returning her gaze to her companion. Akira shivers from that stare, he dismiss the though and drives to their house.

After about 10 minutes, Akira reach their home. Its a simple bungalow house. The grass in their small gardem is perfectly trim, their is also some flowers like roses and daisy, and a small blue porch.

Akira gently wake his daughter up
"Sweetheart wake up" Akira gently said. Mina stirred in her sleep "Dad? Where are we?" Mina ask while rubbing her eyes.

Akira chuckle "Were here" he said as he get out of the car. He tooks Mina's bags and luggages.

Mina stretches her body as she gets out of the car too. She looks at their house and smiles to herself. Its a new beginning for her. Akira notices Mina's smile and ask "Whats with the smile?"

Mina smiles and shakes her head "Nothing just excited for my school tomorrow" Lies. Mina will probably exclude herself from the crowd and live her entire highschool life away in the library like a bookworm she is

"Oh don't worry honey. You'll be fine" Akira assures his daughter "Lets go inside now. Its getting cold" Akira said as he pushes Mina gently towards their front door.

Mina gently open the door and immediately go to their kitchen. Akira chuckled at his daughters antic. Mina must be hungry from her flight he thought to himself

As for Mina she's munching on some choco pie because that the first thing she saw on their fridge. She drank water after she's done.

"Dad where's my room?" she ask her father "The one with a mint green door" she heard her dad said.

She looks for it until she saw it beside the table with a pot and picture frame. She tooks the frame and looks at it. She carress it. Its was her with his dad in the beach. She smile as she gently put it down. She open the door and she saw a big bed with a table drawer with a lampshade and alarm clock in it.

Theirs a closet and and window just beside a study table. Mina huffed as she starts to arrange her things. She first fold all her clothes amd put it nicely in her closets. She also arranges her books and put it in bookshelf beside her bed. And she pin her poster of Billie Elishs (I love Billie Eilish)

Mina lay in her bed after she's done. She looks at the clock and gasped its already 7:00 she's so into arranging her things that she totally forgot tbe time. She hurriedly go to their kitchen.

"Took you long enough" Her dad said and laugh lightly. Mina giggled as she scratch ber not-so-itchy head. "Sorry dad" she said as she sat down

Akira place down some kimchi stew. The dinner is fun for Mina because she can catch up with her father who is a doctor or to be more specific a surgeon. Mina look up to her dad cause not all can save a persons life like her dad can. Akira is a famous surgeon with 0 fatality in his whole surgeon career

After they ate Mina's dad is needed in the hospital, someone is shot and no surgeon is free. Akira gave her daughter an apologetic smile. Mina smiles as she hugs her dad

"It's ok dad. I understand, go get it" Mina cheered her father. Akira smile and kissed his daughter in the forehead as he put his lab coat on

"I'll try to be back tomorrow morning" Akira said to his daughter. Mina smiles and nodded her head

Once Akira is gone. Mina walk straight to her bedroom and immediately lay on her bed. She tired from her flight that she fall asleep

In the Hirai Mansion...

"Unnie! Are you going to school tomorrow?" Chaeyoung ask Momo who laying on the grass

"I don't know" she said flatly still looking on the star. Probably looking for some constellation.

"But unnie... I want you their" Chaeyoung pleaded her. Momo internally rolled her eyes. "Tsk fine" sbe said. She really don't want too go to school cause first she already knew the lesson because duh! They're here more than a thousand years and the lesson their learning is always on repeat.

Chaeyoung smiled and hugs Momo. Momo become startled but relaxed immediately. She's not used in hugs or kisses. She doesn't like affection. And Chaeyoung knows that.

But she couldn't help it. She really loves Momo. Not like a sisterly love. She loves Momo as a lover. Their not really sister by blood. Even Sana their Haru's foster child. Haru is a vampire too. Momo, Sana and Chaeyoung are not really a vampire. Their turned vampire...

Sana is dying when Haru saw her back then. She bit Sana to save her life. She adopted Sana because of that

Chaeyoung is homeless, Haru will only adopt her if she agree to be a turned vampire in which Chaeyoung agrees.

Momo is in the worse condition when Haru saw her. She's beaten up and bruised. She traumatized. She's being abused in her old home. Haru made a deal with Momo. She'll turn Momo into a vampire in return she'll take Momo away from her abusive family. Momo was skeptical at first but agrees nonetheless. She don't want to be beaten to death again

"Thanks unnie" Chaeyoung said as she runs away. Momo shakes her head with a little smile in her lips

What's so good about tomorrow anyway... Momo though as she look at the starry night
