Rex~ Safe with me

So hello there, I might eventually rewrite this, but wanted to make sure I updated. Sorry if this is bad. Anyways please enjoy!

The weather had been very nice during the day, but once the night approached, the weather turned. It was just after dinner, you were curled up on your bed, the covers engulfing you. Steady rain pattered on the windows. Thunder and lightning could be heard frequently in the distance. You were a little nervous, well maybe more like afraid of thunder storms. Your little blanket fort kept you safe along with the calming and reassuring fire crackling in the fire place. Among the many fluffy pillows you sat comfortably reading (Y/F/B). Your eyes skimmed the pages, interest growing every time you turned the page. Your trance was broken by a soft tapping on your door. Ignoring the fact of who could be at the door you greeted them in. "Come in," you said, still reading under the blanket fort. The sounds of the door opening and closing finally caught you out of your book. "(Y/N)?" someone asked. Realizing your whereabouts were unknown you quickly got out from under the covers. A blushing Rex stood across the room staring at you among the disheveled bed. "Oh hey Rex!" you greeted excitedly, patting the side of your bed. He nervously walked over and sat down. 'So what's up?" You could tell something was wrong. It's been a week since the 501st came to Naboo. During that time you and Rex became really good friends. "Nothing much, j... just wanted to see how you were doing." He stuttered softly. You gave him an 'I don't believe you look.' "Come on Rex what's wrong. Please tell me." Along with asking again you gave him puppy dog eyes. "I can't, i'm sorry." He replied avoiding eye contact. His reply disappointed you, but that wouldn't stop you. "Come on were friends, I won't tell anyone else." Before you could even finish your sentence Rex leaned in and kissed you. After realizing what he had done he pulled away, his face really red. You had no time to react and it left you in shock. "I'm sorry (Y/N) I shouldn't have done that. It's just that ever since I ran into you i well really like you and its ok if you" You cut in before he could finish his speed sentence. "Rex you don't need to apologize cause i like you too. "His embarrassed, red face turned to a big smile. "Really?", he asked looking into your (E/C) eyes. 'Of course, who wouldn't." And of course at that moment a loud thunder cracked. You yelped leaping into Rex's arms. he softly laughed hugging you. "Don't worry your safe with me.," he said kissing your forehead. With that you fell asleep in his arms, happy to love someone.
