After a couple of weeks, the leaves were turning golden signalling winter was near. Robin was fully healed by then, and Snow grateful, as now they could finally start preparing for the rebellion against Queen Helen, the person who wanted her dead.
Stepping out of her tent, she found William and Kai talking to a hooded figure. Curious she wandered over to them. The Hooded figure removed the hood, revealing a grey head with braids dripping over the shoulder. The woman carried a cane in one hand and a basket in the other. Lines creased on her forehead when she looked at Snow approaching her, but her eyes shone with youth. Her lips curled a smile.
" So it is true, the princess has formed a rebellion." Snow frowned.
"How did you know that?" She said alarmed. William and Kai chuckled.
"The Enchantress here has a way of knowing things," William explained. The enchantress smiled. "Indeed I do, now where is Robin? I'm here for my herbs, after all, he doesn't need them anymore." Snow raised a brow. Kai answered her saying:
"He is in his tent."The Enchantress dipped her head in thanks, before walking over to Robin's tent.
"Amazing."Snow said. "So she knows everything?" Snow asked, sitting down on the log, near the fire pit. William and Kai shook their heads.
'She may know some stuff, but she doesn't know everything." Kai explained.
"I thought she was a myth."
"Nah, she's real. Just not everything you know about her is real. " Snow nodded
'So I guess she won't be cooking some potion in a creepy castle then. William laughed while getting up to leave.
"No, she lives in a tiny cottage up the river. The only potion she'll be making is medicine." Once he left, Kai leaned closer.
"But don't let that fool you, that woman does have magic. Maybe not as powerful as a spell, but just enough for me to stay on her good side." From her spot, Snow watched The Enchantress converse with Robin. While she had no idea what they were talking about, she could tell that it was making Robin uncomfortable as his face went red for a bit. When he looked at her, she smiled and waved, only for Robin to ignore her completely. Robin and the old lady shook hands before the enchantress came over to her.
"I wish I could stay longer, but it was nice meeting you, Snow. "
"The pleasure is all mine.' Snow replied. The enchantress shook her hand.
"I can tell you are going to have such an intriguing future."
"Uh thank you?" Kai and Snow watched the Enchantress disappear into the forest. She turned to Kai. "What on Earth did she mean by that?" Kai shrugged.
"I have no idea. "
"No idea what?" said a voice. Snow turned around to face Robin.
"Ah, nothing important," she assured him. " Are you ready to plan this rebellion?" Robin nodded.
" I know a place where we might gather some more for the cause." Snow clasped her hands.
"Where is that?"
"The Creek Tavern."
Now the Creek Tavern is a place commonly known by thieves and other outcasts who despise the King and Queen. A perfect nest to breed a rebellion. Located in the center of the town, the group decided to go at night. Under the protection of darkness, they slipped past stationed guards and entered the tavern.
