(No-one's pov)
Lara croft ran in-front Kurono blocking the statue from finishing him off, tightly holding onto the x-guns in her hand she faced it head on.
Lara Croft: you're planning on killing us all aren't you?
Looking back at Kato with tears in her eyes waiting for him to say something.
Lara croft: so what do we do now....leader? Kurono's down? And Y/n ran away...
Kato: .............................
Lara croft: I see....you can't beat either!!! what now? Leader!!! you're not dead you know?
Kato shook his head snapping out of his thought from the chaos of the fight.
Kato: dead? Kei's dead???
Lara croft: he's still alive.....but he lost an arm and leg!!
Kato looked behind him towards the exit, trying to think of a way to deal with the situation now that it was just the two of them.
Kato: we gotta think of something....find a safe place outside...can you bring Kei with you....
Lara croft: Understood! Let's give it a try! Pant pant pant!
With tears and determination in her eyes, she slowly leaned down. Lifting Kurono from his spot on the ground while keeping her eyes on the jug in the statues hand ready to dodge if it attacked again.
Lara croft: Kurono don't die! You still have to go for a ride in my car....So don't die......gotta carry him...
Blood squirted out of the stubs of Kurono's arm and leg, when she was about to make her way to the door the statue splashed the liquid towards the two. Prepared for the attack she used the suits to jump further away covering the distance to make it to the door from the platform in one jump.
Kato: Let's get out of here!!!
Kato looked back once more at all the deceased bodies from the one who just showed up during this mission the male with the broken neck, and the three he knew slightly longer Kishimoto,the male teen,and Sadayo. Looking down clenching his fist in anger as they ran away leaving the bodies behind in order to survive. The statue slowly following their path behind them out of the temple.
(Small Time-Skip)
Lara croft: Were are we going?
Kato: That way!
Kato pointed towards the stairs with the large dead statue laying on it, towards the corner of the largest of the temple's building. The two running around the building to hide for the moment, placing Kurono on the hard cold floor.
Lara croft: Kurono! Say something!
Kurono: Cold it's so cold.....
Kato ripped off the cloth of the suit near Kurono's leg tying it tightly around the bleeding stub of an arm.
Kato: gotta wrap this wound up.
Lara croft: it's still bleeding....Kato? What now? Look blood is slowly coming out from here....Before he comes to......
She stared down at the leg the flesh still slowly being eaten away at and making it's way up his body.
Kato: Kei......
Kurono: Kill....Kill me.....kill me......
Lara Croft: Huh?
Kato lifted the X-gun his hands shaking, staring at the pained expression and the pleading voice coming from his friend.
