When Skygge onto her back after being dropped out of the arena, she shouted to me "Run!", but it was too late. The claw that had grabbed her grasped my back, lifting me off the ground and into the arena. I backed up as far as I could, as Lypsotyns were very dangerous. But it wasn't a Lypsotyn that appeared. It was a Velocus interfectorus, which is its scientific name. Roughly translated, it means swift killer. Which is why its common name is Velofectores. They're basically like a velociraptor had a baby with a tyrannosaurus rex, that had a baby with a mantis shrimp, and bam. You've got a Velofectores. It stands in the pose of a velociraptor, is ten stories high, has smashing jaws, mantis shrimp pinchers for hands, and is as fast as the mantis shrimp. You don't want to mess with 'em. I growled, my bristles high. I only knew of one weakness in their shield strong skin. Their forehead was massively underarmoured. And lucky for me, a red maned wolf's legs were long enough to bound high enough. I jumped on the creatures tail and bit down hard. It howled an unearthly sound and shook, trying to get me off. When it stopped to catch its breath, I leapt up its back. It managed to shake me off, and I hit the edge of the ring with a massive thud. With the wind knocked out of me, it started towards me. Suddenly, a huge white streak raced in front of me and knocked the Velofectores back with a massive screech. Still trying to gain my breath, I lay there speechless. The white blob stopped for a long enough moment that I could see that the figure had long black hair with a tattered black dress. The colours appeared oppositely because she was going so fast. She managed to kill the Velofectores within the minute, and landed neatly next to me. The mysterious girl bared her teeth at a camera, and flew up to it. She bit down onto it, crunching it with her... Fangs?! She grinned evilly at me, showing long fangs that protruded from her lips. For a second, I thought she was going to kill me next. Suddenly, she dove, with her teeth bared.
