Aphmau's P.O.V.
Katelyn, Kawaii~Chan and I pulled up to our new house. It was nice! Definitely an upgrade from my old crappy apartment! We got out of the car and took one good look at our new home.
"Wow!!!! This place is amazing!!!" Kawaii~Chan beamed, her golden eyes sparkling like a child in a candy store
"Right?" I smiled, "I knew you girls would like it."
"You sure we can afford this place?" Katelyn asked in concern
"Kawaii~Chan was curious about that too! Aphmau~senpai are you sure about this?" Kawaii~Chan asked
"Yes! I'm sure." I said confidently
"So...what do you even do for a living to make the kind of money for this place?" Katelyn asked
I swallowed, "I-it's a night job." I said, fear clear in my voice. Katelyn and Kawaii~Chan looked at each other. "I-I really don't wanna talk about it. I-I don't want word to get around to Garroth and Laurence." If they found out they'd be so mad!!
"What?!!?!? You can't trust us??" Kawaii~Chan whined
I made an 'are you joking' face
"Kawaii~Chan, you literally follow Aphmau when she's with (y/n) just to take pictures of them." Katelyn said in a 'matter of fact' tone
"B-but it's my shiiip!" Kawaii~Chan whined, "Kawaii~Chan promises! Outside of that you can trust me!!"
I sighed, "Don't worry Kawaii~Chan I...won't trust you. BUT! I'll live with you" I said, half jokingly
"Oh poo..." Kawaii~Chan sighed in disappointment
"Hm...I wonder...Who else do you know who might have a night shift?" Katelyn asked, "You know what? Fine Aph, you can keep it a secret. We live with you now so we'll find out eventually~"
"B-but Katelyn~sama! Kawaii~Chan wants to know now!!" Kawaii~Chan whined
"Patience Kawaii~Chan, let's play Aphmau's game. If she's so set on keeping her job a secret, it'll be fun to find out." She smiled, then walked into the house.
"What exactly does she mean by that?" I asked Kawaii~Chan
"You know Katelyn~Sama! She just likes to make a snarky remark. She does that a lot to our costumers at Ihop. Which is why she get's such bad tips as a waitress!" She giggled
"Psssh, I'll tip her to mind her own business."
"Happy thoughts!" Kawaii~Chan giggled, "We all live together now you know! Speaking of which, I made you these!" She said pulling out a box that said, 'Extra Fancy Chocolate'
