A/N: my wonderful friend CookieGamer0310 drew this beautiful picture of Axle for me and I just adore it and wanted to share it with you guys.

Candy "Miss C" 's POV:

I smiled having finally completed my mission, although now I had to fix some stuff in my own time frame. It'd been a month and three weeks since I'd started this endeavor and as a result stopped visiting home more and more.

Then the whole incident with my lab happened and I knew I needed to make things right with my moms, before they and my siblings came looking for me with pitchforks and torches.

However thanks to my schemes, things had gotten better,  my mama stopped going away so much, and worked more from home, we started having family nights every Friday night. I know because my three year old self was there.

So even though I hated being away from my family, I needed to do this for my family, because otherwise my moms just may have gotten divorced or something. I was neglecting my own time yes, but I was saving it as well.

Yeah I'm scrambling for excuses I know, I know. I had missed one too many of the family nights (we've had family nights since I was three and missing them is like considered a major no no in my family).

But I really did miss my family. And I really wanted to see my nieces and nephews as well as my siblings even though I'd no doubt get a lecture from all of them in their own way.

Carefully I took my car keys from my lab table and made my way towards the exit.

I smiled at the thought of seeing them again, and cringed as I remembered all the times I avoided my siblings calls and messages,  as well as hiding in my lab or house whenever they stopped by these past seven or so weeks

I slowly locked up my laboratory and rubbed my eyes sleepily,  well I'm not a coward so might as well get this over with.

"You better be going to see your family." Jewels grumbled at me, her bright green eyes bearing into me as I passed by her desk.
"I'm planning on heading to my moms' house for family night actually." I smirk and she shakes her head at me, making her chestnut colored curls bounce around.

"Uh huh, just know that I am sick of deleting voicemails from your family from the company phone C-dice." She exclaimed and I gave her a sheepish smile as I lean against her desk, something I know she hates, but I do it anyway because it annoys her so much.  Plus she always calls me C-dice because she knows how much I hate the godawful nickname, so leaning against her desk was my little retaliation.

"I promise there won't be  any threatening voicemails for awhile okay? Now go home before you physically combust from being here so long." I order her softly. She rolls her eyes at me playfully.
"Yeah whatever kid genius, just go to your family." She instructs stubbornly. I thank her and wave goodbye before I leave, heading for the garage to get my car.
