Our love will never die (even if we do)

Harry finds old photos of the marauders after Remus and Sirius die (note: Remus and tonks never get  together in this)

It had been a good few months after the war and Remus, Fred and all the others had just been buried. After Harry had finally escaped Ron and Hermione and the Weasley's and other grieving families who all wanted to either comfort or thank or just talk to him at he funeral he went home to just be alone.

Fred had been a great friend and a beam of brightness in dark times. Remus was a great older figure and his best DADA teacher. And all of these deaths just brought back painful memories of Sirius' death.

And it was all just too munch for him. 

So he went back to Grimmauld Place just to sit in Sirius' room where he could be surrounded by photos of his father and Sirius and Remus and cry. Because it was just all too much for him and he needed to let it out. 

After a short while he noticed a medium sized box with the lid not yet fully replaced sitting on a bedside table. 

Picking it up, Harry thought it couldn't be too bad just take a peek inside - after all Sirius did leave practically all his things to Harry. 

After he removed the lid, the first thing Harry saw was a picture of James and Sirius, with their arms slung around each other laughing their heads off.

A picture of lily and James' first kiss at the front of the aisle during their wedding day. 

Sirius and Remus dancing during their wedding reception. 'Wait - Sirius and Remus? Dancing? Why are they dancing together?' 

An invitation to James and Lily's wedding with a scribbled note on the back:

'Padfoot, 

I told you I would get Evans to marry me (though she won't be Evans for much longer).

It'll only be a small ceremony with what's going on (you lot, mine and Lily's families)

Prongs'

Harry Fingering through the collection of photographs until he came across a photo of shirtless Remus and Sirius curled up into each other. 

And a photo of Remus and Sirius asleep on the gryffindor sofa pressed up together.

Another group photo of the marauders but this time with Remus and Sirius holding hands. 

Harry spent a couple minutes looking at a photo of his parents that he had never seen before.

A photo of Sirius and Remus kissing by the black lake. Remus and Sirius were together? The photo looked like it had been taken by someone hiding from the two and Harry could clearly see some leaves in part of the image. 

That was when Hermione suddenly burst into the room. "Oh there you are! Everyone's been worried sick. Harry."

"Did you know about these two?" He muttered.

"Pardon?" She asked and then walked over to where Harry was sitting.

"Sirius and Remus. Did you ever know they were together?"

"Sirius and Remus? No." 

"Look." And Harry showed Hermione all of the photos of Sirius and Remus together. 

"Well it looks like they were together during hogwarts. Maybe they never got back together after third year." 

"Maybe..."

"Well as long as you're alright then I'll leave you to it."

Most of the other photos were similar to the other ones apart from at the bottom there was a letter from Remus to Sirius that read:

'Dear padfoot,

Hope your summer is better this year because you are with the potters. 

I'll be coming over next week to james'.

And right at the bottom of the box, in an even smaller box, an engagement ring with the inscription 'Moony x Padfoot forever'.
