As always Harry Potter belongs to JK Rowling - I don't own it 

This is very angsty Wolfstar but part two is coming 

This is partly inspired by the Elvis Presley song 'Can't help falling in love' link is down below (bc wattpad wouldn't let me do it above) and full lyrics which fit perfectly into this one 

This is kinda a songfic so I really recommend checking out the video as this is really based off the song

It was all too easy. Falling in love with Sirius, that is. 

It shouldn't have been. But it was. 

Then again, and not to boost Sirius' ego anymore, he was the hottest guy at Hogwarts. 

His hair (that would have looks ridiculous on anyone else) fell perfectly to his shoulders and Sirius was rightly proud of it (given he spent up to two hours doing it on some days.

And his unique smokey grey eyes that when he wears black eyeliner just make Remus want spend forever looking into the depths of them. 

His chest and arms that have well defined muscles on them that aren't too bulky either and that make Remus stare for a few too many seconds longer than would normally considered socially appropriate when Sirius walks out of the bathroom.

But as long as Sirius doesn't notice its okay.

But I can't help 

Falling in love with you

But it's not just his looks either. It's how when James and him walked into his carriage on the train before their first year officially began, when James paused for a few seconds looking at his scars, Sirius immediately bounded up to him and befriended him.

And whenever he needs it he'll crack a perfectly timed joke to cheer Remus up.

And how outgoing he is and the pranks that he pulls (even though Remus gets roped into them) that Remus  could never do on his own.

Him, who Remus could never be, whenever he gives Remus one of his smiles and Remus feels the familiar flutter of butterflies in his stomach that never seem to go away whenever he is around.

And it's not just that.

It's how he can read Remus so well.

So whenever Remus feels too much like a monster (which Sirius vehemently refuses he is) he's there with reassuring words that he's so strong and is so not a monster. 

And knows when is not the time to crack a joke but when to offer some chocolate that he keeps in a small stash next to him at all times.

And Remus knows it's more than a fleeting crush.
