NaruSasu-Middle Child

We can be friends. We can be family.

We arrive at Naru's place and circle around to the back where there was a whole different building, like some sort of recreational center.

When the hell....

I begin to panic a bit as we get closer and I can hear the music and what seems to sound like A LOT of people.

"Um, Naru...who exactly was invited to this party?"

"Oh. Uhmm hehehe.." Naruto just glanced away from me and scratched the back of his head.

"Naruto." I begin to grow irritated before I actually receive an answer.

"Listen babe, soooo, kind of like the WHOLE gang...."

I am confusion, what does he mean by the WHOLE gang?

"Naru, I thought I met the gang today... did they invite people over or something."

Naru chuckles, heaves a sigh and gets out of the car. I watch as he walks around the front of the car to my side and open my door. I was going to question him further, beggining to grow frustrated that he wasn't actually answering my questions, but he gestured for me to just follow him for the moment. Naru grabbed my hand, and we walked side by side in silence, growing closer to the loudness of the building. Naru opens the door for me and steps aside, and when I walk in, my jaw DROPS. There were tons of people EVERYWHERE! Hell, a whole village.

Frozen, I feel a pair of warm hands wrap around my waist and a chin rest on my shoulder.

"This," I can feel Naruto's grin widen, "is Konohagakure, or as I should say... the WHOLE gang..."

At that moment I feel all eyes turn towards us. Naruto places himself at my side exerting a certian type of dominance to everyone. I was about to feel heat flush into my face but remembered who I was. A fucking Uchiha. One of the last of my clan, my family name. I then shut down all expressions that were on my face or about to be and provided a glare. Naruto looked down at me and I hoped I had made him proud. Because everyone who saw us knew what my eyes were saying:
We can be friends. We can be family. But if you ever cross me, I'll kill you with no hesitation and you'll be just like my real family. DEAD.

I felt the tension rise as the music and the chatter stop. Naruto ushered me forward into the crowd and the vast sea parted before us. Next thing you know, the people I recognized as the gang, stood around this sectioned off area with a ton of gifts pillared around it. I look at Naruto with hesitation as we pass under the black drapes and turned to look back at the crowd.

It was silent. It was tense. It was stiff. I glance at Naruto and his eyes seem to be glossed over, as if he's stuck in some sort of trace. I nudge him, because this didn't really feel like a party anymore and he shook his head a bit, seemingly to clear the fog that had clouded his thoughts.

Naru took two steps forward and dragged me along with him, took my hand and raised it up into the air.

"Sasuke Uchiha," Naruto bellowed as hushed gasps began to fill the room. I'm not surprised, my family was one of the biggest most powerful clans where I'm originally from. The slaughter of my family was big news everywhere to everyone. Especially since I had been the only one to be left alive.

By my brother.

I shook my head and paid attention to what Naru was saying. Now was not the time for Itachi to be haunting my thoughts.

"Is now apart of the Konohagakure gang!" Nartuo finished excitedly.

Then and there it seemed as if the air had cleared and the party was going to begin. The room filled with applause and hoops and cheers.

"However," Naru's smile dropped and the room's air grew deadly, "He is also my lover. So, if ANY of you decide to be bold enough to not only test him but TRY ME, I won't be playing any of your games and you will die. Treat him, as you would treat me, or the leading cricle. If I find out that you have done something to hurt him, make him uncomfortable, or have him feel unwelcome in any way, shape, or form, you will be assassinated... after your family and everyone you love of course." Naruto's speech slightly turned me on, but also slightly worried me.. just because someone makes me feel uncomfortable doesn't mean he has to kill them. I guess I'll talk to him about it later.

The room feels more relaxed than I thought it would, but caution still lingers in the air. I wait paitently by Naru's side to see what would happen next.

"Okay! Thats all!" Naru sang in a happy voice. "This is going to be one hell of a party! Believe it!" And then again, like a switch, the mood had been flipped again to calm and happiness and respect. Naru turned back around and brung me with him to the seating area that had apparently been prepared for us. Naru whispers for me to wait until he has sat down first. As he sat down I felt all eyes return to me. Next I feel a tap on my leg from Naru, signalling for me to sit.

The second my ass hits the seat the music, dancing, and drinking, have all started again. It was like some sort of orgainized, but unorganized festivity. I just sat back for a while and enjoyed all of the people I could now say I had behind me. Like a whole army of people. But not only that... but, someone I think I actually may......

Love.....the man who is sitting right beside me to enjoy all of this with. I don't think life could get any better right now.
