Fucking Hyuga's

Sasu's POV 

SO much had happened in the past few weeks. Naru got better, apparently it realy as bad as it looked and he was able to leave the Health Center pretty early. After we'd gotten home we exchanged parts of our past since he couldn't let go my slight breakdown form before. I learned how his gang was started by his dad and his brother, who'd both gotten killed protecting Naru from another gang all because of this red-head whom he'd forgotten. He says that he's had past realtionships that didn't work out and the most hurtful one was with a girl named Sakura. Apparently she'd been cheating on him with numerous other partners and was a liability for the gang, putting it in danger with her carelessness all the time. The name sounded familiar, but I just shrugged it of since it was a common name. 

I let him know that I'd basically gone into assassin overdrive trying to find and kill my brother after he slaughtered my whole family, but could never find him, always three steps behind. I was stopped by Kakashi who knocked some sense into me and I'd been there ever since. 

After spending time together for at least a week after that, I realized I'd been ignoring my responsibilities and decide that it was time for me to head home and go to work for what seem like the first time in forever.

The first thing I notice when I walk in that evening was that the mood was eriee. The shop was quiet when it would usually be filled with TenTen singing or some background soud like music, the radio, or the television that Kakashi had in the back. I'd even walked in on the two arguing about how Kakashi needed to stop being perverted and reading his porn in public.  

But today it was completely silent AND miraculosly, Kakashi was standing behing the front desk and TenTen was nowhere to be found. I nod him a greeting and he nods back, something lingering in his eyes warning me to tred carefully. I was getting freaked out. What's going on. I retreat to the back of the store to punch my car and on the way back, I pass by the lounge and discover a sobbing TenTen. I immediately rush in to comfort her. 

Yeah, normally I was cold to everyone, but I've been working with thee two for so long that they're just like another family to me, and right now, my family was hurting. 

"TenTen-chan.." I call her name tentatively, "What's going on? Why are you crying?" 

TenTen lifts her head slowly and wipes the tears form her puffy eyes.

"O-Oh, Sasuke-kun, I-I'm sorry, I'll be out in a few minutes to help out around the store."

"I'm not worried about that, I'm worried about you." I sit down next to her and wait patiently for her to start explaining.

"M-M-My girlfriend got killed a few weeks ago!" TenTen forced out as she tried to keep her composure. Failing, she began to cry some more. 

"I-I k-knew she w-was in some shady s-shit, b-but I didn't think t-that she'd be..." Sobbs boasted from TenTen's throat and her body shook with pain.

I lean over and embrace her and feel her tears soak the shoulder of my shirt. I rub circles on her back and whisper how she'd going to make it through this tough time and how her girlfriend wouldn't want her to be upset, but happy and continuing to live her life to the fullest. She nods and says she knows. Collects herself after a few minutes, blows her nose and sits in silence for a while. 

Taking a deep breath she spoke again, "Y-Yeah Sauske, its already been over a week, I've morned and paid my respects to her grave, Hinata wouldn't want me to be crying like this anymore." 

My blood ran cold. 

"Her name was Hinata?" I ask praying that Kami-sama wasn't doing this to me right now. 

"Yeah," TenTen smiles softly, "I've told you once before, but it was a while ago so I'm not surprised you forgot. Her name was Hinata, yes. Hinata Hyuga." 

I don't say anything after that and TenTen bounces to the front of the store in a better mood. I hear the radio come on and a customer enter the store, but I was cemented in place.

I killed TenTen's girlfriend. 

I killed Hinata fucking Hyuga, and now, someone close to me is hurting. 

But if I didn't, Naruto wouldv'e died... Naruto was hurting!

I realized that I'd affected more lives than just my own by taking a Hyga's life.

Neji fucking Hyuga, the leader of a rival gang.

Shit. the guilt started to resonate withing my gut.
