Unfinished Business

Sasu's Pov.

I awoke in an unfamiliar room. I began to worry as memories from last night surface in my mind. Where's Naruto? Is he okay? Is Hinata really dead? Did I actually kill her? I got out of the bed and found my shoes next to the door. I slip them on and walk out the door and down the hallway where my katana was propped up on the wall. I take it as well, and walk down the nearby staircase. 

Looking around on the lower floor, it seems to be the floor where Naruto was held after he'd been captured, I would believe it's the room where I killed Hinata, but it's completely clean. And blood stains are hard to get out.

I walk down the next flight of stairs back to the original floor to shockingly see that it was clean too. The only evidence that there was a party, was the rest of the gifts the gang had brought. The hole in the wall had been smoothed out and turned into a patio sliding door. 

Still trying to recall what fills the gap in my mind from last night, I walk around the room trying to remember what had happened after I had blacked out. The last thing I could remember is  Naru saying something about Hinata getting in trouble because of his boyfriend. Therefore, I'm pretty sure I did something to her. I hope it wasn't THAT bad. After all, my switch hasn't flipped in a while. 

Going over to the new patio, I hear voices coming from outside. I open and walk out into the shine of the afternoon sun and see the inner circle of the gang sitting on the lower area of the patio, which couldn't be seen from inside the building. I walk down the stairs, the team hadn't noticed me yet, and I catch a bit of what they're talking about. 

"I can't believe it." Kiba gritted.

"In our own fucking circle." Gaara seethed. The others continued to make very deadly remarks and all seemed pretty angry. Gaara especially, which concerned me because I've always noticed that he was a quiet fellow, kind of like me... but a red-head.... and no eyebrows. I clear my throat and the team looks to acknowledge my presence. I scan the area for Naruto, but still don't see him. 

"Hey Sasu..." Tem says slowly and scoots over to make space for me. 

"Hey Tem." I walk over and take a seat. 

"Where's Naru?" I ask. All this time and all this effort just to find him, and I finally did, only to black out and lose him again. Ugh.

"He's at the Health Center."

"The Health Center?" I tilt my head in slight confusion. Does she mean the hospital? Yeah, Naru looked kind of roughed up, but I didn't think it was that bad. 

"Yeah. I'll give you the address. It's this medical center on a piece of property that Naruto owns with really good doctors that we pay to keep quiet when we get injured during illegal transactions. He's in great care I promise you."  Temari writes down the address and I enter it into my phone's GPS for later. 

"Where's Hinata?" I ask.

The air tensed up and I could visibly see everyone's mood change from better to worse all over again. 

"You don't remember?" Choji asked, quietly munching on a pretzel. 

"No, not really. I didn't do anything too bad did I? I kind of blacked out before everything happened. I woke up pretty disoriented." As I wrap up my short explanation everyone was quiet. Even Sai's instagating ass was silent. 

"What?" I ask. I seem to be doing a lot of that lately. 

"I think," Shika begins, "that Naruto should tell you about last nights events." 

Everyone else nods their heads in agreement and I guess I'll have to go talk to Naru.

"Okay then." I get up from my seat and walk to the street to order me an uber. To my surprise, Shino calls me and hands me a pair of keys and tell me to follow him. 

Following Shino, I was led to a garage with about 18-20 cars in it. We walk down a row to this beautiful black Esquire with red rims. Shino looked back at me. 

"This is your new car. Naruto told me that this was one of his other gifts to you and before he left he asked me to deliver it."

My jaw dropped. This bitch was MINNNNEEE! Naru is tooooo good to me. He really, really, really, really, really, shouldn't have. 

"I-"

"And before you say it's too much, look at the keys I gave you earlier." 

I observe the keys and see there's an Uchiha clan symbol with a little engraving on the back telling me to stay safe. Kawaiiiiiii!!! I also realize that there are TWO keys on the key ring. I look back up at Shino questioningly. As if he understood, he walked me to another extremely expensive, but beautiful, black Bugatti La Voiture Noire Debuts, with red interior and red rims.

"This one is yours too." 

And with that Shino left the garage and I tried my hardest not to pass out. I choose to get in the Esquire and save the Bugatti for other occasions. 

Getting in the drivers seat and smelling the fresh car smell and hearing the gorgeous hum of the engine as I started the ignition almost had me forget where I was going. Becoming serious again, I pull out my phone, connect it to the car's Bluetooth, and navigated to the address Tem gave me. The car then started giving directions and I sped down the road to see my Naru at last.

Still Sasu's Pov.

I pull up onto this seemingly well manufactured clinic and went inside after I parked myyy car!  Triple checking to make sure it was locked. As I entered the building, two big men stepped in my way and put their hands near their weapons. I don't move for my katana just yet, not trying to cause any extra alarm.

"Who are you, why are you here, how did you find this area, and who sent you?"

 "I am Sasuke Uchiha." I begin calmly as I see the bodyguards flinch a bit at the mention of my name. "I am here to see Naruto Uzumaki," another flinch,  "I just followed my GPS, and one of the others in the inner circle sent me because I wanted to check on my Naruto." 

These buffoons were wasting my time to see my precious mans. Now that I've answered their questions, I try to side step away from the two, get the info from the front desk, and go see Naruto. I'm actually getting pissed off. Like they need to gtf. I reached for my katana and things were about to get aggressive. 

"Is there a problem? Reiku? Jaizo?" I hear my love's voice overflow with utter dominance and control, and I swear I felt my heart flutter the second sound left his mouth.

The boys back down with a bunch of "No sirs"  and "sorry sirs" and "it'll never happen again sir's."  I walk past the two of them to greet Naruto and I freeze at his appearance.  Naru loooked away and my eyes filled with tears for the first time since I was seven years old, all alone in the street. Cold, hungry, tired....and alone. 

NO! This is Naru. It doesn't matter. He'll get better. Yes. That's right. He'll get better and things will go back to normal. I don't even know what's wrong with him yet! There's no need to over react over his appearance. So what if he's wrapped head to toe in gauze and in a wheelchair. He'll be fine. 

..Right?!

A/n: OOOOhH cliffhanger and another chapterrr!!! So much is going on but I still decided to write this kind of filler chapter so everyone could process and  take some time to reasonate with what happened last chapter and to remember that Sasu and Naru's feelings for each other are strong. Sasu cares about his man's!! And his man's cares about him. Anyways, it was just a light chapter for y'all to enjoy while setting things up for a plot twist next chapter. ANYWAYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS, that's all! Hope you enjoyed!
