Steve says his goodbyes to everyone and puts on the helmet getting ready to go back in time.
He has all the six stones, put in a little container ready to be brought back to their rightfull timelines.
"Are you ready cap?" professor Hulk asked getting ready to push a button.
Steve nods and smiles at everyone else, most probably the last smile he gave them.
With a simple push of a button and a pull of a lever Steve gets zapped into different timelines. Returning each and every timeline except for one; the soul stone.
He put of returning that very stone for one reason in particular but now he has no choice but to put it back to it's rightful place.
Steve clicks a button and he gets zapped to vormir- oh how he hated that place.
"Steve?" both Natasha and Clint said in unison upon seeing Steve appear out of nowhere.
"Steve? What are you doing here?" Natasha asks with the look of confusion written all over her face, "Are you even Steve?" she asks getting a look at his arm, there was a scar there- most probably came from the fight.
What if it was a him from a different timeline?
Time travel wasn't such a big deal to them anymore, although it was still an exciting thing to experience.
A thought sprung in Natasha's head.
Could I have...?
"I jumped didn't I? You wouldn't be here if I didn't." she blurted out.
Steve nods, "You did."
after writing this i realized a big plot hole- i forgot clint sjsksjsk
just pretend he just sat there oK¿
"At least I helped in some way." Natasha say and starts walking towards the cliff.
"You don't have to." Steve said and the two fell in a calming silence, resting their foreheads on each other.
"I'm ready." Natasha says without warning and takes of running towards the cliff. Using her right foot she jumps up in the air waiting for herself to fall, but instead she felt tug on her left foot, "Steve. Let go."
"No! I am never letting you go again." he said and pulled her up, "You can come back with me. To my timeline. You don't have to jump Nat." Steve says with pleading eyes, he didn't want to see Natasha go, not again.
"This is my timeline Steve. You've created another timeline and this one is different from yours. Just let me be the hero. Just this once." Natasha got ready to jump but Steve gripped onto her hand, "You're already are a hero!" Steve lead her to sit on a rock and they fell in a silence once more.
Natasha stood up, "I'm sorry, Steve." she took of running towards the cliff.
Natasha runs faster and takes her chance to jump seeing as Steve was quite far behind. Steve however, sprints even faster catching up and jumps grabbing her hand and they both fall down, plumeting to their doom.
They both land with a loud thud feeling the impact on their half dead bodies. Blood oozed out of their sides.
"That was a really dumb move." Natasha says weekly and coughs out some blood.
"Not as dumb as you." Steve said and slowly everything went black.
