It was the second semester of freshman year, and everyone was barely getting back to school. Ally Brooke Hernandez was excited to be back to learn, but she knew that there was something making her dread school. And that was Lauren Jauregui. Lauren had picked on Ally since the first week of school with no explanation. She's shoved her into her locker, pushes her, calls her names, makes fun of everything about Ally.

Ally walked into her high school hoping that things would be different.

"Hey Ally, what's up?" Lauren leans against Ally's locker, slamming it shut. Ally looks up and looks at the obnoxious bully behind her thick rimmed glasses. "What do you want?" Ally asks.

"Wondering how my favorite little gremlin is doing." Lauren looks at the books in Ally's hands, and shoves them to the ground, "Drop stuff much?" Lauren smirks and walks away, but not before shoving Ally into her locker which makes her break her glasses.

Looking at her shattered glasses, Ally can feel tears in her eyes. Fighting them back, she feels a hand on her back. "Hey you okay?" A soft voice makes Ally look up and she sees it's the girl from her science class, Dinah Jane. Dinah was captain of the JV volleyball team, and also one of the most popular girls at the school, due to the fact that she was in a relationship with the head cheerleader of the JV team, Normani.

Ally nods, too afraid that she'd cry if she spoke. "Babe, it's obvious she's not okay, lets get her to the restroom." Another voice makes Ally look into the empty hallway and she sees Normani walking up to them. "Come with us girl, we will get you cleaned up."

Leading her to the restroom, Ally wipes away the small tears forming at her eyes. "Thank you...why are you helping me?" Ally asks as Dinah gets a tissue from her bag and wipes Ally's face. "We know Lauren on a personal level...we don't have an exact answer as to why she's a dick to you but we can prevent it."

Normani nods, "Yeah I wish I could tell you sorry to make you feel better, but i know that won't work."

Ally smiles, "No I appreciate it, like a lot, I'm really happy you two actually helped."

Dinah smiles back, "Anytime! Well it's friday we have practice, see you around Ally!" The couple walks out of the restroom together and Ally is left in the restroom alone. Looking in the mirror, Ally looks at herself. She's a simple girl, has basic brown short hair and brown eyes, braces and glasses which she guessed did make her look nerdy. Still she wasn't a bad person, yet Lauren never failed to make her feel as such.

Pulling her cellphone out, Ally calls her mom.

"Mija, are you okay?'

"Yes mom...actually no, I think it's time."

"Are you sure baby?'

"Yes mom please."

"Okay baby we will un-enroll you tomorrow, get home safe I have to get back to work, Love you."

"Love you too, bye."

Ally was relieved to walk down a quiet hallway to leave out of the side of the school that she usually exited out of, since it was easier to walk home this way. It was semi-difficult because her lenses were cracked. Pulling her phone out to check the time, Ally took a sharp turn and bumped into somebody.

Falling to the ground, Ally lets out a squeak. "What the fu-You gotta be kidding me." Ally recognizes that voice from anywhere.

"Lauren...I-I'm sorry I-." Ally was cut off when Lauren lifted her leg, and kicked her belongings out of her hands. "Watch where you're going Ashley, should be lucky I don't kick your fucking ass."

Spitting on her, Lauren walks away, and Ally is furious. Standing up, she thought she might as well since it was her last day. Grabbing her heave text book, Ally launches it at Lauren's head. Target hit. Lauren falls face flat onto the floor.

Realizing what she's done, Ally walks closer to make sure she didn't kill her. As Lauren gets up, Ally sees she has a bloody nose, and she grabs the back of her head in pain. Whipping her head, Lauren targets her eyes at Ally and Ally takes off out of the building with an angry Lauren behind her.

Running as fast as she could, Ally sees a bush of flowers she can hide in since she's small. Crouching down, Lauren catches up. Looking around Lauren couldn't find any signs of Ally. "Wherever you are you little rat, just know I'll get you back one day!" Lauren shouts, and begins to stomp back to the school.

Sighing in relief, Ally comes out of her hiding place and is relieved to be alone again. "I can't wait to get out of here."
