Bang!

What happens when you die? What goes on before, during, and after? Some say your life flashes right before your eyes like a movie just as the final string is tugged and your soul is officially cut out from the world. You become intangible. You become wisps of white smoke, floating aimlessly until your gas-like self is led upwards by an invisible force, to a place no man alive has ever gone to. It's farther than the moon, the sun, the solar system, or even the universe we are currently in, but it's just a snap to get there, to get to a world where you are surrounded by nothing but light.

Light is supposed to burn when you get to close to it, when it's shining brightly in front of your eyes. But the light in that world isn't painful. It's calming and alluring. It tells you that it's okay now, this is the end of living but the beginning of a peaceful sleep.

Ashe waited for that. With her eyes closed shut, she anticipated the flashes of memories, her soul becoming like smoke, arriving to a place where it felt nothing could harm her now.

But none of that happened. In fact, she was still breathing.

She wasn't dead.

Her eyes snapped her eyes wide open. There was no gun in front of her. She turned to her side and saw Jimin and his mother looking just as alive as she was, but they were staring at something in front of them. Ashe followed their gaze and gasped.

Jung Hoseok was lying on the ground unconscious in a pool of his own blood.
