Yes, Find Me ends like that. It ends with Yoongi going to jail and Ashe not being able to say "I love you" back for reasons she explained in the end.
When I was writing Find Me, I had the idea of them becoming a couple at the very end because who in the world doesn't want them to be? But I decided to write it this way because I wanted the storyline to remain logical. In reality, when you find out that an important person in your life has been lying to you this whole time, you don't immediately forgive nor forget. Ashe had a hard time admitting to Yoongi that she indeed liked him back because of the pain he caused to her and her family and friends. Yes, Yoongi did try to show Ashe that his intentions are good, but when you acquire a background of lying, who is to say your intentions are really pure?
Basically the main moral lesson I wanted to share through this book is to value the trust people give you. It's usually easily obtained but once you've broke it, it's going to take a long time to mend it again. And if you do, it will never be the same.

This is definitely not the end. I will be continuing to write stories on this account, however, I'm going to give myself a break so that I can focus on my studies as I am still trying to adjust to college life. Rest assured, I will hopefully be back by the end of the year or next year with a new fanfic. I always have ideas lying around but it takes so much time and effort to plan them and start writing the chapters, so please bear with your frustrated author hahahaha.
