21. Bisexual

Absentmindedly, I sat down on the floor, brought my knees to my chest and placed my head on them.

"I'm so fucked up! I... I... I'm so f*cked up" I yelled slamming my hands on the cold marble floor.

Mr Donald stood up and walked towards me. He bent down to my level and raised my head with his hands. As usual, a delicious shiver ran down my spine like a bolt of electricity and I moved backwards.

"Don't... don't touch me" I whispered

His lips curved up into a sly smirk and his eyes crinkled at the edges

"Why?"

"Nothing don't just touch me" I whispered again but being a stubborn man, he carried me in a bridal style and sat me on his desk.

"Kathryn get your shit together we have lot of work to do"

Mr Donald is unpredictable, I thought he was gonna comfort me but I was wrong.

"I heard you fired Stacy and Alice why?" I prodded fiddling with my fingers

"It's none of your business" he replied in a dry tone

"I know its none of my business, I just want to know why you fired them but to be very honest you shouldn't have done that"

"I believe I don't owe you an explanation"

"And I believe wanting to know why you fired my friends is not a crime"

"Your what? your friends? have you forgotten what you said last night about them being annoying?"

"Just because I said they don't like me doesn't mean I hate them too and I certainly don't wish them bad"

"Just so you know I didn't fire them because of the nonsense you said last night. Whatever people say about you is none of my business" he replied shrugging and I really felt that. Even though I didn't want them fired, I actually thought he did it because of me, guess I was wrong.

"I know" I said quietly

"What were you thinking? You thought I'd fire my employees for you? No. I have my reasons for firing them"

"Is there anything you want me to do?"

"Yes, there's a--" he started but the opening and closing of the door interrupted him

We turned towards the door and saw Daniel approaching us "Hi bro" Daniel greeted his brother
"My baby girl" he greeted me dragging the 'girl'
"My baby boy" I replied dragging the 'boy' too

He moved towards me and a wide smile crept up my face as I hugged him tightly

"I missed you" I murmured

"I can honestly say I missed you too" he whispered and I grinned like a baby.

We released each other and Daniel sat down opposite Mr Donald.

"What's up bro?"

"Did you knock before coming in?"

"Do I have to knock before entering my brother's office?"

"Yeah, I could be banging some chick in here you know"

"This is an office not a hotel, you shouldn't bring your whores here and if you were actually banging a chick I could also watch a live porn you know" Daniel replied rolling his eyes.

"Daniel what would you like me to offer you? Coffee or water?" I queried

"I'm good babe" he answered and winked
